"Welcome to the International Science Fair and we hope you blow our mind" That was the first message Stephanie saw on the banner at the gate when their designated school bus drove into the large compound.
The place looked like it could host a thousand students and it felt right for the purpose of why it was built. The white large buildings stood near each other and a bold sign of what they are was placed at the top.
The four buildings seemed to eat up the entire compound, One for the auditorium and where the competition was going to take place for two weeks, another one for the accommodation of students, it looked like a luxurious hotel to Stephanie from the outside and She wasn't surprised because for their school to be invited, it had to be some pretty big deal competition. Another building for recreational activities incase the students got tired of reading and all and the last building hosted the cafeteria, tuck shop and some stores that sold necessities.
Stephanie pulled her small box along while she held Hera's hand with her other hand. The girl was nervous around them being the only junior and she being a celebrity and Stephanie was determined to make her feel comfortable with them.
Tolu Fadeyi walked slowly behind them and his supposed girlfriend was walking ahead of them, as if eager to get to the room. Stephanie could tell something was wrong with the way Arabella practically aired Tolu since they left Elite College.
Every attempt at a conversation was squashed and she was practically glued to her phone, during the flight she slept and Tolu kept on staring at her. Stephanie noticed because she had been looking at them.
"Stephanie, wait first" Femi Martins called out and Stephanie turned to look at him. He had his camera out and Stephanie knew he wanted to take a picture not that she minded but right now, she was too tired.
"FM, let's do this later, I'm too tired for all this one. I swear" She whined and Femi stuck out his tongue at her.
She dropped her box and she walked over to a part of the fence covered with decorated flowers. Femi kept on snapping away till he was satisfied. She picked up her abandoned bag and they walked towards the hostel. Hera had waited for her but Arabella and Tolu had gone inside already.

"Is that not Stephanie Oh, the teen model?" One girl whisper yelled and Stephanie closed her eyes for a moment. She thought this competition was for nerds who have no time for social media. Life 1 Stephanie 0.
"She's so fine in real life. I thought her pictures were edited like most of this teen celebrities do" another replied and Stephanie had to do as if she didn't hear anything and continue posing for Femi.
"Do you know El-Perfecto is here too?" the first person replied again and they giggled. When they noticed her coming towards their way, they walked away hurriedly.
Stephanie didn't see El-Perfecto as a science kind of guy though. Apart from being rude to everyone and taking wickedly hot pictures, being a science student is also cool.
She remembered the last time she had to work with the annoying El-Perfecto, she ended up throwing her coffee at him because he found ways to get under her skin faster than anyone.
"Sorry, i kept you waiting, That boy won't leave me if I don't take the pictures" She turned to Hera who smiled at her. They walked to the elevator.
"Who is that boy? Ezzzzzz, me i will slap you ni. Demilade isn't here to save your white ass" Femi mocked and she laughed.
"Babafemi Martins, stop being a racist. Don't worry when we get home, Demi will kick your ass for me" Stephanie replied and Femi hit the back of her head.

The girls got one room, the boys got the second room and their teachers got one room too. Their teacher's room is at the supervisor wing while their own rooms are next to each other.
"Hera, please escort me to the refreshment building, i want to make my hair. You know a girl gotta look hot when representing her school tomorrow. Who knows if I might find my Mr. Right" Stephanie asked Hera with a pout and She groaned as she laid flat on thier bed.
"Hello guys, welcome back to my YouTube channel and it's your girl, Queen Bella. Today, I'm going to be giving you a tour of everywhere at this international science fair happening live at Abuja. We have some guest schools too from USA and guess what, my old school students are coming too. I can't wait to introduce y'all to them. And Yes, I'm sharing a room with Stephanie Oh and another girl that i don't know her name. Guys say Hi to the camera" Arabella turned the camera to look at them and Hera didn't even budge from where she laid and Stephanie was staring like she was lost.
Arabella hissed and she removed her phone from the tripod stand. The whole room was quiet with Arabella muttering things under her breath.
"Hera now. Let's go together. I'm making big braids and it won't take up to an hour" Stephanie pulled Hera's hand and Hera groaned.
"Oya let's go, if we spend one hour and you're not done, I'm leaving you oh" Hera warned before she stood up and she threw a baggy top over the bumshort she was wearing and she picked her phone from the dressing table and Stephanie jumped for joy.
When they got outside the room, Stephanie handed her phone to Hera to make a boomerang video of her jumping and twirling. She posted it on her IG story and she captioned it international science fair Abuja.
They walked into the salon and someone tapped her. She turned back and it was El-Perfecto, she smirked at him.
"Today must be good because it's not every day you bump into angels" El-Perfecto said and Stephanie laughed.
"Coming from someone that everyone's looking at. That dark aura of yours must be pulling girls towards you" Stephanie teased and El-Perfecto shook his head.
"Can you give me your personal number, maybe we can talk later after the fair or catch up with dinner if you're not going to end up dumping anything on me" He said before reaching into his pocket to bring out his phone.
Stephanie collected the phone and she typed in her WhatsApp number before handing it back.
"I'm going to save as My angel, talk to you later" El-Perfecto breezed out of the salon and Stephanie found a seat. She turned around to look for Hera and she saw her sitting by the chair and watching something on her phone.
"Stephanie, have you heard that Ebuka Ezekwesili proposed to Moremi" Hera gushed and Stephanie looked back.
"Are you serious, like Ebuka is off market for life? Moremi must be so lucky" Stephanie screamed and she got weird looks from people inside the salon.
