3rd pov

The two began their journey through the cave, winding through twists and turns blindly trying to find a way out. Which Ananta will admit, wasn't exactly most productive method. But at the moment the two didn't have many other options.

Rimuru gained new abilities when he defeated and absorbed monsters they faced along the way. Ananta let the slime have his moments after they learned she didn't get an cool skull upgrades when she did it.

Something the novice dragon did learn however was the could shrink her size when she ran into a small problem.... She was way to big to fit into some of the smaller spaces, leading to her getting a little stuck.

Rimuru regretted laughing at her for it. Although he couldn't feel pain he found out that getting whacked around a room was not fun. And Ananta learned that tails were actually very useful.

Alter a few days the two finaly made it the the exit where huge metal double doors guarded the entrance.

"How do we get through this?" Rimuru wondered mostly to himself. "I could just use water slash to cut them down?"

Ananta wast really paying attention to the slime as some faint sounds reached her ears. Her head shot up when she felt the energy of three beings on the other side of the doors.

"Hold off on the destruction for a minute." Ananta cut off the slime who looked at her in confusion. "The problem may just solve itself."

The doors began to open just as Ananta grabbed Rimuru in her mouth and hid behind a wall of rocks. The two watched in silence while the doors creaked all the way opening and three figures steps inside.

"There humans." Rimuru noticed. Two male and one female.

"They look like adventures. It's probably best to let them past then sneak out the door."

Rimuru nodded in agreement at Ananta's comment and once the three adventures were far enough away the two slipped out the cave into the first sunlight they had felt since their deaths.

Ananta did the first think that came to mind. Which was to unceremoniously jump into the grass and roll around. Rimuru laughed at his friends childish behavior.

"Are you sure your actually a dragon and not a cat." He teased.

"Well of I am I totaly get why they do this." Ananta replied. "The wings kinda make it a little..."

Rimuru noticed his friend go still and got a little worried at Ananta's sudden silence. "You ok?"

Ananta abruptly jumped up and stared strait into Rimuru's eyes.

"I'm a dragon."

"Umm, ya?"

"I have wings." Excitement radiated off the dragon in waves.

"So?" Rimuru asked in confusion, not sure where his friend was going with this. That is untill she began jumping up and down.

"I CAN FLY!"

Waisting absolutely no time, Ananta grew to her full size spreading her wings as far as they would go. With one powerful sweep of her wings strait down her body ricocheted into air above her. The force of her wings causing Rimuru to be thrown back from the force of the wind.

Ananta's pov

I took to the sky my wings propelling myself hundreds of feet into the air. It took me a second to figure out how to stay in the air. But once I did it was heaven. The wind in my scales the sun on my back. When I looked down everything was tiny. It was like another world up here.
