"Nandini/maa." Manik and boys shouted seeing Nandini crying and shouting in fire. Cabir and Arya, Abhi brought water from outside and pour on it to reduce fire.
Manik run and took a blanket from room, try to reduce a fire. All crying and shouting at Nandu.
"Ahhh, Manik.." Nandini cried seeing him coming near fire.
"Nandini..just move back...move.." Manik said flying the blanket and reducing the fire, Rajan held boys who crying and want to their mom.
Nandini coughing and moved back, Manik with help of blanket reached Nandini.
"Nandu..shh...breathe baby." Manik held her face, Nandini hide into his arms. Manik looked around to see fire increasing only.
"All move out...go out." Manik shouted at all.
"Manik you.." Raj asked him.
"I will come with Nandini, you guys get out...fire is increasing. Cabir get all out.." Manik shouted, holding Nandini, all went out.
"Maaa." boys shouted but Rajan and Abhi pulled them out.
"Man..*cough*..Manik..babies..*cough*" Nandini coughing vigorously because of smoke. Manik looked around and saw back door in kitchen, there fire was less. He cover Nandini with blanket and pulled her close to him.
Manik kick the door harder again and again, and it finally open, they door side were fire. But Manik held her tightly and took her out, in between got hurt by fire but his attention was all on Nandini.
They came out through back door, Manik lay her on his lap, rubbing her back.
"Jaan, please breath slowly. Jaan." He cried seeing her condition, whole face red, arms and all hurt by fire.
"Maaa." boys came running to her.
"Ma open your eyes..maa" Ayan patted and rubbed her cheeks.
"Maa please." Aryan cried holding her hands.
"Manik ...fire.." Neyonika gasped, all saw Manik shirt got fire. He in hurry removed his sherwani, his side got hurt.
"Manik ambulance came." Abhi said, Manik lift Nandini and run to ambulance. Manik and Abhi went with Nandini, all other came in car.
"Nanu, maaa." Aryan cried in his arms, Rajan held his both grandsons.
"Don't cry babies, ma will be alright." He said, Aryan and Ayan sat numb.
"Call the doctor immediately." Manik shouted pushing the bed. Soon Nandini took into room. All Came, Manik saw boys siting numb and looking at door where Nandini kept.
"I failed again." Manik thought leaning on wall.
"Sir, you needed treatment too." Nurse said looking at manik, who nodded no.
"Manik we are here, just go with her." Arya said, manik stood stubborn.
"Manik beta go, or else it will become serious" Rajan said, Manik sighed and went glancing at boys.
After few minutes doctor came out.
"Doctor how is my daughter?" Rajan asked.
"No serious injury by God grace. Due to lot of smoke, she and breathing problem. Now she is stable but she need complete rest, because her health condition is not proper." Doctor said all sighed in relief.
