[The next morning, we hear an off-screen rooster crowing and we see the Mushroom flag moving up to the top of a pole as a reveille plays. The screen then changes shot to the ground to show Wario, who had raised the flag up.]
Wario: [salutes with his antenna. Then Sarge's bugle reveille gets interrupted by Jimi Hendrix's rendition of "The Star-Strangled Banner" being put on by Yoshi.] Will you turn that disrespectful junk off?!
Yoshi: Respect the classics, man. It's Hendrix.
[Then the screen shows inside Mario's room, where he is still sleeping. Mario groans, then breathes rapidly and mutters. Fast-paced electronic music plays as Mario mutters, which it is shown that Mario was dreaming of competing in the final race with Rosalina and Bowser, only that is was actually held on Mario Kart Stadium, not on Mario Circuit. Suddenly, King Chomp appears on the track, driving behind the three racers. King Chomp growling andBowser screaming. All three racers get shocked at seeing King Chomp. Rosalina drives off the track, Bowser's kart gets shredded by King Chomp's teeth. Then Mario slides off the track. King Chomp crosses the finish line as the camera zooms in on Lakitu's checkered flag and shows King Chomp on stage with his Mushroom Cup trophy. Then the screen shows Mario being surrounded by Chain Chomps, which one of them licks him. They start barking. Then the screen shows back in the present, where Mario wakes up from his dream.]
Mario: No! [gasping] [Then an alarm beeps as a model car pops in and out of a miniature cone alarm clock.] I gotta get outta here! Hey, have you seen Waluigi? [The screen shows insideToadsworth's building as Mario and come in, notices Waluigi's kart's rear, as Waluigi's kart is on a ramp up in the air] Oh! Oh, my gosh. Oh!
Toadsworth: [The screen turns around as it shows that Toadsworth was fixing something on Waluigi's kart's undercarriage. Toadsworth turns around] Hey, what are you doing?!
Waluigi: Get a good peak, City Boy?
Mario: [Stutters] I, a.. a.. I just need my daily food ration from the Sheriff.
Toadsworth: [angrily] Wait for him at Daisy's! Now get outta here!
Mario: I'VE BEEN TRYING TO GET OUTTA HERE FOR 3 DAYS! [Mario then leaves the building.]
Waluigi: Hope you enjoyed the show! [Mario grunts in anger as he kicks a can, which goes into a garage in the side of Toadsworth's building, and we hear the sounds of objects falling down. Mario stops moving as they hear this. Mario groans. Then the screen shows inside the garage as Mario opens the doors, and he enters. Mario notices all of the boxes on the floor beside him]
Mario: [Chuckling] Whoa ho, Toadsworth. Time to clean out the garage, buddy, come on. [Then our heroes notice something near the window. They turn towards it, and it turns out to be a Mushroom Cup trophy. They look up to see that the text on the bottom says "Hudson Hornet, Champion, 1951".] What? He has a Mushroom Cup? [Then they look to see another Piston Cup trophy behind a few boxes. They push the boxes aside, and see a third trophy as well along with four old racing tires with red hubcaps.] Oh, my gosh. Three Mushroom Cup? [They look at the text on the two trophies, which say that Toadsworth was the champion of 1952 and 1953. Then they look to see a newspaper beside saying "Third Mushroom Cup Win! Hudson Hornet champion for all time" and showing a picture of Toadsworth with the racing number 51 and the text "Fabulous Hudson Hornet" and a few other decals.]
Toadsworth: Sign says stay out! [Mario gasps upon hearing Toadsworth's voice]
Mario: [He reverse and see Toadsworth standing grumpily outside the door.]You, You've three Mushroom Cups. How could you have--? [Toadsworth walks in]
