A New Threat

As the months went by you settled down a bit from the Hero work, You continued to help out around the Hero Agency. Hawks continued to work himself day in day out. Tokoyami even though his work-study had ended still would come by and help out and learn from Hawks. More so Hawks probably just enjoyed the company of another person versus being out in the field on his own. You spent the day at the agency since Keigo's secretary had some meeting to attend to in Keigo's place. It was a slow day nothing notable happened. Keigo hadn't caused mass destruction to the city as of yet. As for the league of villains, nothing had happened they almost seemed as they fell off the face of the earth after Dabi's escape. After many interrogations, Chisaki hadn't given any information or a clue to their whereabouts.

You sigh and shut everything down at the agency. Hawks hadn't shown up and it was getting dark out. You close the door and lock it up. The late-night breeze chilling your warm cheeks, you sink into the warmth of your coat and put the keys into your bag before. turning around and sighing. "Guess we're walking today," you say putting a hand under your belly supporting the weight. You touch the panel hidden in the wall and the secret pin pad pops open, you type in a code before it hides back into the wall and sets the alarm for the building. You take a breath and start walking off the property. You take out your phone and open your messages.

No new messages. You turn into a busier street as your typing a text to Hawks letting him know you left the agency office. You send off your text and put your phone away. You rub your tummy you couldn't wait till your baby was born, more so you couldn't wait what kind of quirk your baby would manifest if any. It'll probably be Hawk's quirk it is the stronger quirk more of a Hero quirk that is. Your phone begins to vibrate in your pocket. You take it out and see that it's All Might. Your brow raises in confusion but you pick it up none the less.

"Y/N speaking how can I help you?" you grimace at your customer service voice, you can heat All Might chuckle "Y/N, thank you for picking up your phone. I was calling to figure out where one of my students might be." You give it a thought before being confused even further. Your lack of response queues All Might to add some further detail "I was hoping you knew where Tokoyami is. Hawks took him away after class and has yet to bring him back." You bite the side of your lip "I know they went out to help in the city with some petty crimes and general parol for the day but I haven't heard from him yet" he lets out a deep sigh "Okay, Well please let me know if you happen to hear from Hawks before I do."

You stop walking and lean against a wall taking a break. "I will Toshi, I'm pretty sure they're on their way home any moment now, Hawks never tries to keep Tokoyami out too late especially with their break coming up." All might chuckles "All right thank you Y/N. Have a good night" before you can say goodnight back the call ends. you pout and check your messages one more time nothing new and Keigo hadn't even read your message. You look up at the sky "Guess your dad is too busy for us" you look down before groaning "I'm hungry, what should we snack on tonight?" you ask your belly before giggling. Somewhere you read that talking to your belly helps create a bond but you just felt silly doing it. You stretch before stepping away from the wall. "We're almost home then we can enjoy some hot chocolate and rest," you say a smile on your face. You continue your walk home this time more excited to get home and rest.

~Dabi POV~
"So what exactly is this plan, what are we even hauling away?" I ask annoyed. Not only has the league been sitting on its ass for a few months now but this is getting ridiculous Shigaraki is blindly taking orders instead of giving the orders.  "You don't need to know what we're hauling, last time all of us knew the details of our missions we let a certain pro hero stab us in the back and turn our whole operation into a bust." I groan and get up "Where are you going Dabi, we aren't done talking about this" Shigaraki says loudly "this is stupid it's not worth my time," I say walking away. I grab a hoodie and walk out onto the streets putting the hood up to cover my face we should be focusing on the quirk eliminating drug, not this stupid escort mission' i groan turning the corner.

"..Hawks never tries to keep Tokoyami out too late especially with their break coming up.." Y/N turns her head just enough to see her face. I keep walking away. 'dumb brat shouldn't be out this late..' i pull on my hoodie covering my face all the way 'it dangerous out here..'

A/N: Happy New Year! I"m not 100% on the scheduling for the chapters this year but I will be posting as often as I can until I figure out scheduling. Another thing, if there are aspects of this story that you want to see represented or types of side stories you'd like to see let me know and I may be able to cater this fan-fic into something more for you all. Nothing is a bad idea and putting our ideas together is better than one person's perspective.
