Chicken & Waffles

You turn in bed facing away from the sun coming in from your window when your doorbell goes off. You groan and cover your head with a pillow. It goes off again you pull your pillow closer and sigh "NO ONE'S HOME" you shout turning in bed. you hear it again and stand up running downstairs to the door " I said--" you open the door and see Hawks. "Morning, chilly isn't it?" he says looking at you in your f/c shirt and black underwear. He smiles as your face turns red you slam the door in his face. You run upstairs hiding in your room. "WHAT'S HIS PROBLEM!" you scream looking around for some pants, you grab some pajama shorts and look outside your window. Hawks was waiting outside your door. He was looking at his reflection on the door and fixing his hair. You blush and sigh walking back downstairs. "why are you here?" you ask without opening the door. You hear nothing and open the door a bit. 'he's gone?' you think opening the door all the way and stepping out before you could react Hawks grabs you by the arms and lifts you up flying both of you to the roof. You look up and fail a little "h-hey?!" you say "what's your deal?!" you ask as he perches himself on the roof setting you down. he smiles and looks at the sun rising "The view out here is nice" he says you blush more looking at the sunrise. "I guess.." you mumble "Y/N ~," he says lowly you stand up straight at the sound of your name rolling off his tongue. You turn to him his face sitting in his hand "what's for breakfast?" he asks. You sigh and drop your head "You mean to tell me you came all this way, wake me up, bring me out here to see the sunrise to get a free meal?" you ask your eye twitching a little. He gives a small smirk and looks at you with his golden eyes "Yeah" he says simply. you groan and punch his shoulder "fine.." you say in defeat. He is technically your boss you think to yourself. Even though he's such an ass sometimes. He grabs you bringing you back to the ground. You walk inside Hawks following behind, as you close the door you hear a low growl. You turn around and see Kitaro puffed up watching Hawks. "I don't think your cat likes me," he says scratching the back of his neck "Well no one really comes over so he's very protective," you say picking up your furball "play nice," you say petting Kitaro and setting him back down. "What do you want?" you ask Hawks as you head into the kitchen, he sits on the bar stool by the sink "Suprise me?" he says a smile on his face. you groan and open the fridge pulling out some drumsticks. You pull out the air fryer and prep some fried chicken. While the goes you open your cabinet and pull out some batter and waffle maker and start on waffles. "so .. who told you my name?"  you say focusing on cooking. he leans on the counter "Well when we put you in the agency as your hero name it does pull up everything about you" he says watching you "right, so you know my name what's yours?" you ask pulling some juice from the fridge "want some?" you ask pouring yourself a cup. He shakes his head "Keigo" he says. you grab some plates and set one in front of him putting a pancake on it and opening the air fryer and putting some of the chicken on his plate. Hawks was starting to drool. "Go ahead," you say turning around to make your plate when you turn back to sit down you blink as he held his plate out "More please," he says a smile across his face. "did you even chew?!" you ask setting you to plate down and taking his "What can I say us heroes gotta eat quickly, especially if there's an emergency," he says drinking out of your juice cup. you groan and set the plate in front of him. you go back to get another cup of juice. You sit in front of him and eat "so, what kind of bird are you? " you ask "And doesn't it creep you out a little that you eating chicken" you add eating your breakfast. he shakes his head chewing on his drumstick "No actually I really enjoy chicken, and I couldn't say I'm related to particular bird" he says swallowing "but I do think my quirk is more Hawk related, hence the name" he says finishing up his plate. You nod eating the rest of your food.

~Hawks POV~
I drink up the rest of the juice and sigh in content "SO!" I clap my hands together "Get dressed we're patrolling today" I add looking at her, her messy hair all over her shoulders. She stands up and looks at me "You stay down here" she says glaring "no funny business" she adds walking away. I sigh and look around. 'it's so cozy here' i get up and look around the living room. I look at all the pictures on the wall. 'she went to UA' i stop in front of one picture 'must be her parents, but she's so young in this one' i sigh and turn around to see a small shrine in the corner for the parents. 'your all alone too, baby bird'.

~ Y/N POV~

You walk down the stairs and see Keigo looking at your parent's shrine. You walk up behind him and look at his wings 'i wonder' you thought and touch one, immediately the sprawl open and you step back "H-hey, don't do that" he says turning around his face dusted pink. You smile and laugh a little "sooo you can feel from your wings" you say interested your hands innocently behind your back "Yeah I can feel from them they are attached to my body" he says looking at your outfit just some black combat pants and a black tank top "what's that in your hand?" he asks you lift up a small misting bottle "this is so my smell doesn't go wild, sometimes my pheromones are scents and can cause unwanted animals to come, Aizawa fond someone who can make a stronger repellent so I'm trying it out" you say putting it in your pocket. "so that thing on you thigh must collect some sweat based pheromones" he says catching on, You nod and look down "it's gross I know" you say looking at your boots. "Who's quirk isn't gross or odd," he says "At least you don't have to worry about recovery times if I use up enough of my feathers I can't fly for 2 days," he says, you smile feeling a little better. "so where are we going?" you ask "Just around town, nothing difficult today" you nod and open the door "alright Kitaro I'll be back later" Keigo walks past you and outside you close the door behind you and take in the sun. 'my first day on patrol' you think a big smile covering your face, unaware that Hawks was looking at you in awe.
