Power Struggle - Takami Keigo X Reader

Chicken Curry

A/N * I love to cook and although this isn't a cooking video it is a real recipe that I use if you ever have a feeling to try out some curry. Obviously I cut out info so that it wasn't 90% of the chapter :)

You look up at the skylight and take in the sun, Keigo had fallen asleep beside you, whatever fight he had gotten into must of taken it all out of. You turn over and look at his soft face, even with the cuts and bruises his face looked so perfect, the perfect amount of stubble on his chin. You carefully get out of bed and go to the kitchen to make dinner. You open his fridge and try to figure out what to make.

You pulled out a couple of carrots, onions, and some chicken thighs that he had in the fridge. You opened all the cabinets and find some potatoes. "Now where did I see the ginger?" you look around the stove finding some ginger and garlic. You walk to the table and grabbed an apple he had in the fruit bowl. You look at the spread of items you found. Feeling content you begin preparing your vegetables, you peel and chop the potatoes and place them in a bowl of water. You rinse and wedge your carrots and onion. You set All that aside and start cutting up the chicken thighs while your pot heated up. You threw your onion in along with some grated ginger and garlic. Once everything was golden brown you tossed in the chicken and carrots. While that cooked you started on the rice and curry roux.

Once your chicken turned white you added in the chicken broth and some seasonings to the pot and let that boil. You leaned on the kitchen counter and opened your phone looking at your text message 'should I tell Aizawa and Present Mic where I am?' you thought. They were your friends and you hadn' thought about telling them you were in danger. You looked towards the bedroom and see Keigo's wings, He risked himself to protect you and you didn't want to drag more people into your troubles. You sighed and looked back at the boiling pot, you add your roux and stir it in with some ketchup and soy sauce. you sigh 'Just how much is Keigo risking for me?' you think finishing off the curry you grab some dishes and serve it up adding some apple slices on the side.  You set the plates down and the table and go towards the bedroom.

You smile and gently shake Keigo's shoulder. "hey wake up I made dinner," you say softly. Keigo groans and turns over to his back "just a little longer~" he mumbles shielding his eyes from the sun with his arm. "I'll eat the curry for you then" you tease. "Alright I'm getting up," he says sitting up. You walk to his closet and grab a simple black shirt for him."Here" you say tossing it to him. "he chuckles and puts it on "what, don't like what you see" he teases. You blush "i-it's not that" you stutter. he stands up and hugs you from behind "then what is it?" he whispers in your ear.

"i-its just your really distracting" you mumble. "hmm? what was that?" his hot breath on your neck, you squirm a little "y-you're just, you-you're uh" Keigo chuckles and kisses your cheek "come on use your big girl words~" he plays with your hair while kissing your neck. You bite your lip a little trying to choose your words. "Come on baby bird~" his hands run down your sides slowly until he reaches your hands. he grabs them and lifts them over your head, turning you around so you're facing him. you blush more feeling your face get hot, Keigo brings you close to him with his wing holding you against his chest. "come on Y/N~ I wanna hear what you think" he draws out your name.

You close your eyes "Y-YOUR SO HANDSOME I-ITS DISTRACTING"  you blurt out. Keigo smirks and brings your hands down to his lips kissing them. "was that so hard to say~" he teases letting you go. "y-you're too much" you say mumbling again. "What was that?" he questions "n-nothing" you respond going to the kitchen table a little too fast. He chuckles and follows behind you "It smells so good in here" he comments sitting down across from you. "you made this?" he asks looking down at his plate. You nod and hand him some utensils. "you had just enough stuff in the fridge to make it" you say taking a bite. "I'm surprised, I haven't bought groceries in a while"

Keigo takes a bite of his food and gives a soft moan, you look up at him he licks his lips before digging into the plate. You giggle a little "c-careful your going to choke eating that fast" you say watching him eat like it was the only thing he's had in years. He takes the last scoop of food into his mouth and sits back, he gives a sigh of content. "damn Y/N, I could marry you right here if it meant more meals like that". You choke slightly on your food and look up at him. He gives a chuckle and pushes your water glass to you. You take a drink and sigh "your too much sometimes" you "but you like it~" he says looking you in the eyes. 'great he can see through me' you think. "So what do you want to do Y/N? we got the rest of the day to waste". You look around and think. "m-maybe watch a movie?" you respond, Keigo smiles "anything for you Y/N~"

You stand up and pick up your plate you walk over and take Keigo's you put them in the sink and rinse them off. Although Keigo pretty much licked his plate clean so there wasn't much to rinse off. "so what movie do you want to watch?" he asks getting up and going to his movie collection by the television. "hmm do you have anything new?" you ask finishing up the dishes. "I have a horror movie and a sci-fi movie I haven't watched yet" he pulls out both movies from the top stack and holds them up. you look at both the movie boxes "let's go horror" you say sitting on the couch. Keigo nods and puts the movie on, he turns the tv on and sits next to you his feet propped up on the coffee table "am I going to  have to hold you the whole time?" he teases you

"w-what n-no!" you say crossing your arms. truth be told you chose the horror movie so he would hold you. Keigo chuckles and brings you to his side. "alright but if you get too scared we can turn it off" he says kissing the top of your head, he sends a feather over to the light switch and turns off the lights. just before it returned to his wing is tickles your nose breaking your tension. You rest your head on his shoulder and smile slightly. 'its just about a demon doll it couldn't possibly be that scary, right
