Mine

Love is when you keep loving yourself while being with that one person.

May nahiram na guitar si Zeki.

Magaling naman siyang kumanta, nakahiligan niya ang pag tugtog noong high school pa kami dahil napabarkada siya kila Franco at Bern na parehong nasa iisang banda.

But, I never heard of him singing for a woman except for me and my mother. Ngayon ko lang siya nakitang kinakantahan ang isang babae.

He started strumming the guitar while looking at Becca's pair of hazel brown eyes.

Just a smile and the rain is gone,
can hardly believe it.~

He's manly voice fill the entire beach along with the waves of the calmest sea.

I keep smiling from ear to ear dahil kinikilig talaga ako sa kanila. Damn dude, they're drownly in-love with each other!

There's an angel standing next to me,

Nakisabay na rin ako sa pagkanta ng mahina dahil hindi ko na mapigilan.

I accidentally glance at Shawn whose looking at me.

Ngumiti ako sa kanya at ganoon rin siya. He didn't take his eyes off of me kahit pa sa peripheral vision ko lang siya tinitignan.

Muli akong napatingin sa kanya nang bigla siyang tumayo. I can no longer focus on singing along dahil sa kaba especially when he sat beside me.

Ang lapit lapit niya! I can literally feel his heat.

"Wear this." He handed me his sweatshirt.

"How about you? malamig." I said still hesitant.

Umiling siya at inipit ang takas na buhok sa tenga ko. "I'm used to it." He winked at me kaya sinuot ko ito.

It's a bit big on me. Lampas sa denim short ko ang haba. I feel warm now.

"Mukhang may nag kakamabutihan dito ah," wika ni Rebecca sa tabi ko. I didn't even notice na tapos na palang kumanta si Zeki dahil my whole attention was on Shawn.

"I'm courting her." Diretsong wika ni Shawn.

At ikinamula ito ng mukha ko.

I heard Zeki's loud laugh. "After thousand of years. FINALLY!" He teased.

Natatawang umiling si Shawn.

"Yeah, finally." He smile. I blush.

Ilang sandali pa ay naunang magpaalam ang mag asawa dahil aniya'y makikipag video call pa daw sila sa helper na naiwan para sa mga bata.

Naiwan tuloy kaming dalawa ni Shawn.

Magkadikit sa isa't isa na para bang nasa MRT kami at kailangang siksikan dahil wala nang space.

Ang luwag luwag pa naman ng upuan na inuupuan namin.

"So," I said unsure of what I am going to say.

"Hmmm?" Hinihintay niya ang susunod na sasabihin ko.

I pick a stick near the wooden fire and draw stars on the sand before I continue what I was about to say.

"Just want to ask you about the rejection. I mean you know, before." I asked biting my lower lips.

He intertwined our fingers before he answers me.

"I never rejected you." Panimula niya.

"You never heard any rejecting coming from my mouth Pen. I didn't speak a single word when you told me about your feelings for me." He said.
