Flashback...
Camila clutched onto the straps of her backpack trying to weave her way through the crowds of people unnoticed. Camila didnt know how much more of today she could endure, Dinah was off sick so the teasing and bullying was at a new record.
First period just consisted of Olivia getting one of her hooligans to pull Camila's chair from under her just before she sat down, second period the football boys just sat throwing small balls of paper into Camila's hair and third period was just the usual name calling which Camila had just grown to roll her eyes at.
Lunch had rolled around through, this was hell on earth for Camila. Her mom wouldn't pack her a lunch so she would be forced to go get some and she couldn't just avoid lunch completely because her dad would check each day how much she spent at lunch. So Camila had to rush from her pervious class to ensure she was one of the first people in the cafeteria, she would swiftly grab her tray and make a fast beeline for the exit.
Today, Mr Fry had let the class go five minutes late meaning when Camila entered the cafeteria, it was already completely full. The first thing she noticed when she entered was Olivia Sanders, Olivia was the cause of the hell Camila lived in five days a week. For some reason Olivia had taken a hating to Camila early on in high school and from that point on she would constantly go out of her way to ensure Camila would never feel safe at school again.
Lauren used to just tell Olivia or her friends to fuck off and they would more often than not leave her alone, but once Lauren, Normani and Ally left, Camila just became a target. Camila was always to scared to speak up against the group and they often didn't do anything when Dinah was around so she couldn't stand up for Camila.
The cafeteria was quiet today, it made Camila unease as she stood nervously in the lunch line. She made sure to watch Olivia and the football team closely encase they did anything, she also planned her quick exit if she needed it. Camila finally reached the front of the line and got her tray, all she had to do now was quickly make it to the large red door at the other side of the cafeteria and leave.
Olivia seemed pre-occupied by her phone so Camila took the opportunity and quickly started the journey, her head down to ensure she wasnt seen. Due to her fast pace and minimal eye contact she completely missed the passing boy in front of her, meaning she collided straight into him and his tray sending the food on her tray into her chest and face and the food on his tray also onto her. Camila stepped back looking down at the food spread across her clothes, she then quickly looked up hoping the other person was okay and upon looking up she knew it wasnt an accident. Toby Cray the captain on the football team stood in front of her with an empty tray in one hand and his phone pointed at her in the other.
"Oh my god, Camilla. Let me help you" Olivia said acting concerned, she rushed over with a napkin and a bottle of water in hand and if Camila thought this couldn't get any worse, she was mistaken. Olivia then proceeded to pour the ice cold bottle of water down Camila front and then pretended to rub at her shirt with the napkin, Camila shivered for two reasons, the ice cold water cascading her chest and the wicked laugh Olivia was letting out. "Looks like its already stained, that's a shame Camilla" Camila wanted nothing more than to hit the girl and correct her name but all she could bring herself to do instead was run from the cafeteria as tears built up in her eyes.
Once she was in the safety of a bathroom stall she let it all out, she let the tears run freely down her face. She wished the world would just open up and engulf her, or maybe she would die of embarrassment sooner or later. Either way Camila didnt care how it happened but she just didnt want to be here anymore, she was tried of the pain that Olivia Sanders seemed so intend on putting her through.
