Summer was coming to an end, everyone knew it was happening, it was inevitable but they all decided to just ignore it. The thought if they just ignored it, maybe it would go away. Maybe if they pretended summer was going to last forever, it would. It was wishful thinking but it was all the five really had to grip onto at the moment.

With the aching thought that summer was soon to come to an end, in a burst of spontaneousness thinking Lauren decided she wanted to get the most out of her limited time with Camila. And what's a better way to do that than play house for a few days, so in an impulsive manner Camila and Lauren headed into Gotham. Laurens apartment was there destination in mind, they hadn't planned the next two day, they didnt even have anything in mind to occupy the days because they were both content with just being with one another.

Lauren fiddled with the key for a moment before finally pushing it into the lock, pushing into the apartment Lauren couldn't help but let out a sign. She definitely didnt get as much use out of the place as she hoped, her parents had only bought her it so she didnt have to make the hour long drive every morning to school but most of the time she wouldn't even stay here.

As soon as Camila stepped into the apartment she was instantly hit with the smell of... Lauren. The air had a hint of everything that was Lauren. It had a hint of cigarette smoke because as much as Lauren had convinced everyone she had quit Camila knew she still had a secret cigarette every once in a while, there was also a hint of Laurens flower bomb perfume that she would always wear and it wouldn't be Lauren without the smell of her leather jackets and boots. Which have a naturally pleasing, fragrant aroma. It's not too strong or overbearing. Rather, it's a mild aroma that Camila compares to a mixture of wood and spice.

The apartment was a minimalistic artistic type of décor, there was only basic furniture like a sofa, a tv and a coffee table. The whole apartment was white-washed and the furniture was light oak, there was multiple plants littering shelves and window ledges through-out. Camila couldn't help but notice all the small touches that made it more Lauren, there was art supplies litter everywhere, books left half read and dog eared everywhere and her favourite of all, the abstract artwork that covered the majority of the walls in the apartment.

Lauren placed there bags down on the island in the kitchen, Camila liked that the apartment opened into one, she liked that you could see everything at once. Lauren then quickly moved her way around the apartment opening all the drapes and windows, Camila watched as Lauren drew back the large drape that covered the majority of the far wall. Camila was stunned at the sight they had from the large window, it was as if they could see the whole city from there window. Camila couldn't help but step forward to get a better look at the sun lit city below, Camila was lost in her own world at the sight.

"It's nearly as beautiful as you" Lauren cooed into Camila's right ear as she approached the girl from behind wrapping her arms around her waist, she rested her chin on Camila's shoulder as she watched the girls side profile that was lit by the morning sun beaming through the window. Lauren was still dubious to touch Camila, it wasn't the fear or inner battle about openness and sexuality. It had now become a fear of ruining Camila, Camila was artwork to Lauren. She was like Claude Monet's water lilies painting, her beauty was intricate details on the canvas but when you took a few steps back it created this whole work of art and Lauren feared that every time she touched Camila she would rub away at the beauty that was Camila Cabello.

Camila turned in Laurens grasp causing Lauren to straighten up her posture and step back slightly to look at Camila, Camila smiled up at the girl. She felt as though the past few days had been a dream, as if she wasnt really living out each moment but spectating it. Everything about Lauren had been heightened for her, which she didnt think was possible. As if everything within the pair had altered to fit the other, there senses were heightened and tuned to work with eachothers. Camila just wanted these moments to last forever, she was stuck between wanting to indulge in new moments with Lauren and make new memories but if they kept moving forward and time kept going they would have less time together, but eventually everything has to come to an end, and it was an end Camila refused to think about.
