Since high school the Hansen, Brooke, Cabello, Hamilton and Jauregui families had been close. The parents had met early on back in high school and there friendship had with held even through to being fully grown adults with there own families.

Even through they all no longer resided in the same state, or worked similar hours they still found a way to keep in touch which came in the form of a skype call on the last Friday of every month. The call would go on for hours as they all talked work, their kids and the best part; 'the good old days'.

Today was one of their calls, but today's call was different.

"Is everyone on ? Can you all hear me ?" Ale spoke up first on the call adjusting his screen so Sinu was visible too.

"Yeah all clear"

"We can hear you"

"Clear as day Ale"

"Yeah I'm here, Clara wont be a minute" Mike uttered as his wife's loud shouts could be heard on the call. " AND DONT YOU DARE THINK ABOUT COMING OUT OF THAT ROOM UNLESS I TELL YOU, YOU CAN" Clara bellowed before appearing on the screen as she threw herself down in the chair next to her husband with a loud exhale.

"Who was that directed at ?" Derrick questioned to the clearly angered women. 

"Lauren" the women dragged with a tired tone to her voice.

"I dont believe it, that girl was always an angel" Pat reminisced back to when she last saw Lauren.

"I know, I know. We dont know what's going on with her at the moment, just recently its like she's not even... Lauren anymore" Mike confessed defeatedly.

"Our Normani is the same, we think its the move" Andrea interjected. "-but we are hoping she overcomes it"

"Our Dinah had something similar a year or two ago, i think its just teens being teens sometimes" Gordon countered as reassurance to the couples.

"I dont know its been going on a while" Clara explained. "She's out until ungodly hours doing god knows what, with god know who. Her grades are unrecognisable to last years report card, her teachers claim she's unteachable and her attitude at home." she expressed shaking her head and looking to mike. "i dont think we have spoken to her in month without it becoming a shouting match and she doesn't even acknowledge us sometimes"

"Exactly our Normani" Derrick added repeating the same disappointed head shake Clara did. "what about Ally, Dinah and Camila. Are they having similar issues ?"

"Dinah had her issues last year with all her anger but a friend at school introduced her to basketball and they've just vanished. I think she just needed an outlet for everything that was going on, I think having Mila still has helped her a lot"

"I agree Andrea, Mila having Dinah there has helped her a lot too. She seem fairly okay though, I mean she had her usually teenage issues like 'what if I'm not pretty enough' and obviously her sexuality but I think she doing okay"

"Ally is good too, no real issues we have noticed anyways"

"I think Normani just needs stability, I think she just needs to surround herself with good people"

"Same with our Lauren"

"Do you all ever just wish we could all just go back in time to when the girls were younger and we would spend the summer in that house in the middle of nowhere, with the peace and quiet of the woods? We would all just laugh and catch up all night while the girls would run off and spend the whole summer in their own little worlds together" Ale reminisced with a smile which everyone reflected. "Now those were the days" he finished with a laugh which was reciprocated all around.

"The kids would never go for that now" Jerry mocked "No WIFI, no technology, nothing around and especially solely the company of their parents and their friends... We'd kill them" he chuckled.

"-But what if that's exactly what they need " Mike stated raising some 'i dont knows' from everyone.

"That would either make Normani ten times worse or give me back the old Normani" derrick spoke up looking across to his wife unsurely "I'm willing to take the chances, if it mean I could have my baby girl back" Everyone looked around to there partner trying to read what each other was thinking. Was this really about to happen ?

"Are we serious right now ?" Sinu questioned sceptically.

"I think we are" Clara grinned at the idea of almost reliving there best memorise again.

"Summers only three months away, can we plan and organise all this in such a short amount of time ?" Milika quizzed.

"Of course we can" Mike and Ale said in unions with a smirk.

They stood by there plans too, they never told their children the exact plans just that they were going on vacation for the summer. Some were happier than others about the plans but they didn't have a choice, so on the Sunday after the last day of school all the families packed up and hoped on their flights from Florida, California, Texas and New York all the way to Canada.

I think I might start linking songs at the top of the chapter that inspired it, was playing when I wrote it or that I think fit with it.

Also bare with me on publishing these chapters, the books fully completed but i still need to read through it all and check everything over. So I'll be posting a minimum of three chapters a day, so you should all have the whole book by Christmas.
