One month later, it was December 13th. It also meant that we had began packing, since we were moving in a month. Currently, I was sitting on my bed, writing a Christmas list. I know it was a little late for a Christmas list, and I was a little old, but I don't care. I'll never be too old.

.So, the issue today was Christmas shopping. I was going alone, because I was buying presents for my mom, my dad, Kyle, Macy, Hannah, and Vanessa (the only people we would go shopping with). Did I forget to mention that I was in New York city?

Our family was on a trip here because they still felt bad about making us move. Of course I was upset, but I've always wanted to go to New York. All of the Christmas spirit here is amazing, too bad I have to leave in three days.

Back to Christmas shopping. I know it is dangerous going out alone in New York City, but nothing I can't handle. Just as I was getting on my coat, Kyle walked in.

"Where ya going?"

"Shopping." I slipped on my shoes.

"Alone?"

"Yup."

"Well...have fun." Oh gee, thanks.

It was freezing outside. Now I really wish I brought my hat, gloves and scarf. Its okay though, I'm in need of some so I'll just go buy them on the way. I had about $300 (I saved up), plus I had my credit card if I ran out. I doubt I will, though. My first and only stop will be times square. I'll also go to Macy's around the corner.

My fingers and ears started to freeze even more, I felt like I was getting hypothermia. It looks like my first stop will be Aeropostale.

A sudden warmth filled my body as I entered the store. I was greeted by friendly people, and made my way over to the hats. I picked out a nice one that was blue with a pom pom on top.

Next, I went to the scarves and picked out one that was light blue and white. Last but not least, I had to go up to the second floor to get gloves. I. picked out a pair of green and red striped ones, to match the season. I payed, everything totaling up to $30.57.

As soon as I exited the outlet store, I put on my hat, gloves, and scarf. That takes about $30 off my money towards gifts.

Where to next? I can go to Macy's, and get my mom perfume or something. Buying 6 presents is hard, so I can't spend too much time debating what to buy. I'll try to get as much as I can at Macy's, because the store has 13 floors and I only have 2 hours.

It was crazy busy on the first floor, so I took the escalator to the 13th, so I can make my way down. Unfortunately, climbing up escalators when they are broken is like a workout. Especially 13 of them.

I was out of breath when I reached my destination. This floor was for toys, so I'll be able to get Macy's (ironic) present here. After walking around the perimeter, I found the girl section. Now, Macy isn't picky, and she'll like anything Barbie or pink.

After a few minutes, I found the perfect toy; a limited edition Christmas Barbie, wearing an elegant pink dress. I was prepared to buy it until I saw the price tag, realizing that it cost $50. That means everyone else's present would have to be cheaper.

I decided to still buy it, because she would absolutely love it. Besides, she was a good little sister. For Kyle, well, I might have to get him coal.

That took $50 off my list. So, now I have $220 to spend.

Next was Kyle. Looking at the floor guide, I saw that floor 12 was electronics, and that's where I'll need to go for him. Just as I was about to go down the floor, I realized that I should go to Toys R Us for her. I put the barbie back, and went to floor 12.

What exactly do 12 year old boys like? He was kind of nerdy, so maybe something related to video games. Hm...how about Halo 4? I know he doesn't have that yet, and he has all of the other games.

An hour later, I had gotten Kyle Halo 4, my mom a fancy new perfume, my dad some new ties (hopefully to impress his new Irish boss), and Vanessa and Hannah expensive best friend necklaces. Everything in total added up to $253. $47 dollars left to find Macy a pink Barbie. I'd been here for an hour and 20 minutes, so 40 left for Toys R Us.

Times square was busy, and it was nearing 6:00. My stomach was growling, and I needed to meet my family back at our hotel soon. To be specific, 6:30.

The Toys R Us was huge, considering that it had a ferris wheel inside. As soon as I entered, I felt like a kid again. There was even a candy land! If I were still a kid, I'd love this.

I immediately began searching for the girl toys, and settled on a Barbie wearing a green and red Christmas dress. It didn't have pink, but it looks even better than the one wearing pink. I had just enough money to buy the doll, so I payed and exited the store.

When I got to our hotel room, it was 6:27. Luckily, I had made it just in time.

"Hi sweetie, we were just heading out to the Olive Garden." I kept my coat on, and quickly put the stuff I bought in my own personal closet. Knowing Kyle, he'd snoop around and blame it on Macy.

I followed my family out and closed the door behind us.

Three days later, we were at the airport, waiting for our plain back home. I was a little sad to leave, but New York was a little to busy for me. Besides, I had so many bags, the shopping had definitely gotten the best of me.

Our plane arrived, and we boarded without hesitation. It took about an hour, but we got home and I unpacked all of my bags. Sleep washed over me, and I laid down on my bed, immediately falling asleep.

Well there's chapter 16! How did I manage to write all that? I am going to eat dinner now, but I'll read it over later. I really just wanted to post it.
