"Will you be okay to go back to training tomorrow?" Susan asks me as she pulls the chicken out of the oven and places it on a plate.

Not long after my conversation with Evelyn, Susan and Robert returned from training. I didn't miss much, just handing out clothing to the factionless.

Thankfully Four didn't come to get me, but I think I still have to meet him tonight. Son of a bitch never gives me time off. But I suppose with a major threat looming over us time off isn't something you can just hand out whenever you want.

"Beatrice, I asked you a question."

I look up at Susan who is looking down at me with concern.

"Sorry I was zoning out," I chuckle, " What was the question?"

"I asked if you are okay to go back to training tomorrow?"

"Yeah, I am fine, I got plenty of rest today. I'm full of energy and ready to train."

"You sure because I'm sure your mom can get you more time off if you are not ready?" Roberts asks me.

I rest my hand next to his, I can feel the heat radiating off him.

"Robert if I say I am okay then it means that I am okay. I got the rest I needed and I am ready to go back."

"I know I am just worried about you. Susan and I had to carry you home the other day."

"Oh, how could I forget that ordeal."

Heat rushes to my cheeks with embarrassment as the thought of people looking at me unconscious in my friend's arms surfaces in my mind.

"Dinner is served." Susan announces.

She sets plates filled with chicken and some vegetables in front of us. A glass of water to accompany it.

"Thank you, Susan."

"Thanks, sis."

Robert leads us in prayer and then we dig into our meal.

As always Susan and Robert ramble on about something to each other while I zone out and eat my food.

I smile as I watch them talk to each other, it reminds me of Caleb and me, when we were younger.

Since the conversation with Evelyn, I haven't been able to get him off my mind. His laugh, the way he used to chew on his lip when he would get really into his homework, hell I even miss him scolding me for not being as selfless as everyone else. I miss him and the sad thing is, I might never see him again.

As I scoop up another spoonful and brought it to my lips I catch out of the corner of my eye a tall figure moving around outside our back door. The figure moves to a window. I almost choke on my vegetables when I see the masked figure of Four staring at me through the window.

"You have got to be kidding me." I mumble under my breath.

"Beatrice is something wrong?" Robert asks me.

My attention snaps in his direction.

"Yeah...I'm fine. I'm just...um...still tired," I nervously chuckle, "I'm going to go to bed early."

I get up from the chair and rush out of the kitchen.

"Goodnight!" They both call out after me.

But I didn't say anything back, my brain is too occupied thinking about what I am going to say to Four when I get out there.

I lock my bedroom door and then scurry out of my window. After doing this for quite some time I have become somewhat of a master.

Four is waiting for me below my window.

"It is about time. I was about to go in there and get you myself." He grumbles.

"What the hell are you doing here you big bafoon. My roommates could have seen you and that would not have been good for us, mainly me." I scold him.

He smirks at my outburst and crosses his arms over his chest.

"That sounds like your problem, not mine. Now I brought you some clothes I'm taking you out tonight."

I blankly stare at him for a few seconds.

"Okay so you see from what I've heard the phrase I'm taking you out tonight means......well...you know."

His eyes widen to the size of saucers when he realizes what I am saying.

He scoffs and shakes his head.

"I don't mean a date, okay I will never take you on a date," Well that hurt," What I meant was that I am taking you back to Dauntless we are hanging out with Zeke again. Now get dressed."

He shoves a bag into my hand, the paper crinkles and crunches when my hand closes around it.

"I'll be right back." I sigh.

I quickly scale back up the pipes and close the window behind me.

I peel off the grey material that is covering my child-like body and replace them with tight black clothing.

I open my window and scale back down the pipes.

"Who the hell do you live with?" Four asks while pointing to the bathroom window.

I listen out for what he is referring to and I am surprised to hear Susan singing. Well, it is more like humming than singing but she sounds great non the less.

"That is Susan, now come on let's go before they see me with you."

I hurry off into the woods, Four trailing behind me.

"What's the matter Tris don't want your boyfriend to see you talking to another man?" He snickers.

"I don't have a boyfriend." I quickly said.

He laughs at me, like an actual genuine laugh.

"Why are you laughing at me?" I ask, my hands twitching as the urge to hit him swells up.

"I just didn't see you as the flirtatious type. "

"What are you talking about?"

"The man you live with, couldn't quite catch his name, he obviously likes you and you were either playing him or you like him too."

Robert!

"I do not like Robert and he does not like me. And I wasn't flirting with him I was just," Basically holding his hand, oh hell it did look like I was flirting with him," I've just always been that way with Robert but I do not like him in that way."

"Well, he doesn't see it that way."

The whistle of the train interrupts us.

We break into a full sprint and jump onto the train.
