Peacemaker darted into the cave. There was little light orbs hanging from the ceiling with different colors; they looked like big, round pieces of fruit. He was so busy looking at all the decorations he didn't notice when he bumped into a large dragon sitting at a stone desk. The black dragon smiled at him and said; "You must be Peacemaker! I can tell, you're wings are beautiful!" She said.

Peacemaker smiled, "Thanks,"

"Anyways," the black dragon said (who he knew as Fatespeaker), "You're cave is sixth cave on the right!"

"Thank you!" Peacemaker said, taking his map scroll and walking out the entrance hall. He paced caves and heard dragons speaking and laughing and talking together, he smiled as he passed them, because he thought, maybe one day he'd have friends, too!

He was busy looking in the caves, and (again) bumped into a pacing dragon. There was a group of one Sandwing, one Mudwing and a Skywing. He didn't know any of them. "Oof!" Peacemaker yelped, shaking his head and staring at the dragons.

"Huh?" The Sangwing said gruffly, "who is this scrub?"

"I don't know," the Skywing replied simply.

"Hey, who are you, Nightwing?" The Sangwing asked roughly.

"My name's Peacemaker," Peacemaker said, spreading his wings with glee. Maybe these dragons can be my friends!

The dragons gasped as he spread his wings and the Sandwing took a step back. "You're not a NightWing!" The Sandwing growled.

"C'mon, let's just go." The Mudwing said, taking his two friends away from Peacemaker.

"Why are they acting like that?" Peacemaker said out loud to himself. He shook his head, clearly at unease with this new school (not that he'd ever been to school before.)

He continued walking, his talons making sharp noises on the gravelly stone. He eventually found his cave. There were three beds, a hammock (which he suspected was for him), a deep hole filled with water which was definitely for the Seawing, and a ledge covered with different colored cloths. He stared at the scroll racks and picked out a scroll, plopping himself down in the hammock.

Peacemaker read for a while, unbothered by the other dragons footsteps and voices in the hallway. Suddenly, his ears perked up, he heard shouting voices in the hallway.

"It's not fair that Moon has all these secret powers! I actually liked it when I had mine, but I had to give it away because there might've been a secret enchantment on it?!"

"Hey, hey, it's not like Moon chose this."

"Yeah, her mother did. And what exactly happened to Darkstalker anyway?"

"We aren't sure of that. It's clear that only the Jade Winglet knows that answer."

"Well, maybe we should ask them! It's not fair, it's always about the Jade Winglet."

Peacemaker suddenly heard roars of agreement in the crowd.

Peacemaker got up, uneasy by the shouting and crept out of the cave. He still hadn't explored the whole school yet so he wanted to see it. He padded down the hallway and tried to creep around the fighting dragons. Til someone knocked him to the ground.

"And who might you be?"
