Can I... Be a hero too?

Chapter Four

Izuku was hyped up when All Might gave him his results in person. He had been walking around the city, before suddenly, All Might landed in front of him. "I am here!" He hollered, looking at Izuku.

"Al- All Might?" He said, surprised at the sudden entrance. "Yes young Midoriya!" All Might replied, "I have come to deliver the results in person!" He finished, striking a pose. He handed the letter to Izuku and ran off again. "I must go!" He shouted behind his back.

Huh? Izuku thought in shock. He looked down at the letter, and sat down on a bench. He stared at the letter for a moment, before ripping it open. A small round disk fell into his open palm. What? He thought, looking at the circle. He pressed a button on it, and fell off the bench in shock.

"I am here as a projection!" A voice shouted. Izuku looked up to see... All Mights face looking down at him. "All Might?" Izuku muttered, looking at the letter. "But, this is from Yuuei? Maybe he came here to work here?" He muttered, his mind going into overdrive. "I came here to work at Yuuei, actually," He heard the projection say. So I was right, Izuku thought, calming down.

"You aced the exam for the written part, and you have gotten 143 points on the practical exam!" He said, grinning. What? Izuku wondered. But I had only gotten 83 points? Where did I get the other sixty? It seemed though that All Might could read minds. "Now you may be wondering, how did you get those extra sixty points? It was because the exam was not only graded on villain points!" He said, crossing his arms. Another type of points? He thought, paying closer attention.

"Rescue points! A panel of judges that give points on heroic deeds!" What? Izuku thought. Huh, guess the exam isn't as biased after all. He thought, surprised.

The next day

Izuku walked in front of the door of the classroom. All right. I got this. I just hope that Kacchan is in my class. He thought. He needed to explain to Kacchan what happened.

"Take your feet off of that desk now!" A voice shouted. Oh shoot. It's the scary person with the glasses! Izuku thought nervously. He walked into the classroom.

"Huh? Your kidding right?" Kacchan said, grinning. "No I'm not! Stop disrespecting this school by damaging school property you rascal!" The boy shouted, waving his arms around. "What school are you from glasses," Kacchan taunted, grinning devilishly. "I am Iida Tenya from Soumei Junior High School!" Iida said, waving his hands around. "A damn elite huh? I'll look forward to crushing you," Kacchan said. Still no tact, huh? He thought, exasperated.

"Huh? Crushing people is not very heroic! Are you sure you are training to become a hero?" Iida said in shock. Jeez, could have been nicer. Now he's pissed, Izuku thought. "I'll kill you!" He shouted. Izuku took a deep breath, and walked in.

"Huh? I-Izuku?" Bakugou said as soon as he caught the eyes of the green haired teen. His expression went from annoyance to sadness and surprise. The other people in the class caught the change of attitude and looked at Izuku in surprise.

"I thought you were a dead idiot!" Bakugou shouted, starting to cry. He rushed forward to hug Izuku tightly. Izuku hugged back, looking distant. "Sorry Kacchan," He whispered. He couldn't afford to tear up. He let go of the younger boy, and took a seat behind his friend.

"How?" Bakugou said, still looking at Izuku like he might disappear at any moment. "When mom died, I ran away so they wouldn't bring me in for questioning," Izuku whispered, his voice hollow. "WE HAD A FUNERAL FOR YOU, YOU DAMN NERD!" Bakugou shouted. The other classmates looked over in surprise. "Now that's more like the Kacchan that I used to know," Izuku said with a said smile. "I'm sorry," He said. "SORRY DOESN'T CHANGE ANYTHING!" Bakugou shouted. "DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH IT HURT? WE WERE HEARTBROKEN YOU FUCKING IDIOT!" He finished, and looked down.
