Can I... Be a hero too?

Chapter One

All Might had just walked out of the police station after handing a few thugs to the police, and he transformed back so he could go buy some food. As he walked into the supermarket, he bought some fruit and some ramen packets so he could eat them later. When he went to the cashier to buy them, the cashier had fallen asleep. Uh what do I do? All Might thought, glancing down at the man. It was surprising to see that they were wearing a mask. carefully, he set down the things he wanted to buy, and lifted up the mask. He was surprised to see that it was not a full grown man, but a teenager that looked around fourteen.

Why is he working so young? He thought. He placed the mask back on the boys face, and shook him a little.

"Hey, hello? I want to buy something," All Might said gently, tapping the boy. "Ughh, give me a bit... More sleep..." And with that he dozed off again. All Might sighed, and briefly turned into his muscle form. "Now wake up!" He shouted as he turned back. The boy jumped up looking around frantically. "Huh did I just hear All Might?" He heard him whisper. Then the boy caught sight of him, looking awkward. The boy started apologizing frantically while bowing. "Its ok, just calm down," All Might said, looking around. "You're causing a scene!"

The boy quieted down eventually, and took a deep breath. "Ok so what did you want to buy?" "um two ramen packets, and these apples." "Ok sir! That would be," The boy replied as he was pressing numbers, "Eight-hundred and thirty-one yen sir!" All Might internally sighed. That was so embarrassing! He thought. "Thanks!" He said, and walked out of the store.

"Oh my god...." Izuku whispered, flushed with embarrassment. "That was so awkward!" He began to ramble. "What if the man thought I was weird? What if he thought that I was socially awkward? Well, not that he's wrong, but then what if he thinks that this store is full of weirdos and don't come here anymore and I lose my job? What if-" Izuku slapped his cheeks to snap him out of it. "Its okay," He said taking a deep breath. If he comes here again i'll just apologize. He thought, calming down.

Though, he seemed oddly familiar...

Izuku groaned. He had finally finished his shift, and now could finally go get a shower. He walked out of the store and walked towards the Pool center. (I have a place in the town where you can shower, and it's a pool place. Sorry if this isn't a thing in japan and im a idiot.)

As he was nearing the Pool he heard screaming. He ran over to the sound and saw a villain holding a teenager hostage with a knife to their throat. She had brown hair down to her shoulder with a bob-cut and big brown eyes. He looked around frantically. Where are all the pros? He thought. He saw Mount Lady and Kamui Woods just standing there. "What's wrong with you? Save the girl!" He shouted at them. "We can't!" Mount Lady said, looking distressed. "Our quirks aren't fit for the job!"

"You guys are so useless!" Izuku shouted in frustration. "Excu-" "Shut it!" He shouted before running towards the villain. He pulled the villain towards him before kicking the villains head, followed up by a knee, before throwing the villain towards the heroes.

The crowd watched in shocked silence. The heroes just stared at the young boy, holding the kunai, still glaring in defiance. The girl on the ground was looking at him in shocked admiration. Izuku looked around one last time, and walked away. The pros didn't even follow, just staring in shock.

As Izuku was walking back to Takoba Municipal Beach Park to clean some more trash, he saw All Might appear in front of him. "AH! All Might! Oh my god I can't believe it's you! Can you sign this notebook please!" He fanboyed, sticking out a notebook. "Uh sure thing young man," All Might said, clearly taken back from the enthusiasm.

After he finished signing he sat down with Izuku. "I wanted to talk to you earlier today," Wait does he mean that hostage situation? Oh no he must... IS HE GOING TO ARREST ME? Oh no oh no!!! He thought. "No no i'm not here to arrest you!" All Might said, waving his hands around in a calming gesture. "Did I say that out loud?" Izuku said in embarrassment. All Might ignored the question,waving it aside.

"I want to ask you, why did you save that girl?" The question caught him off guard. "Why?" He repeated. "I did it because it was the right thing to do, and also because I want to become a hero who can save everybody!" He smiled. "Oh!" All Might said, "Well in that case, how would you like to be my successor?" To which the boy could just gape in disbelief.

The Next day

The Bakugou family are in shock. When they hopped on the TV this morning they had never expected to see Izuku's face as the first thing they saw. The family looked and listened in shocked silence, as they saw Izuku charging forward and rescuing the girl. Bakugou gaped. He knew now that he wasn't imagining things. Izuku was definitely alive. Bakugou stood up and whooped. "That little cheeky nerd is still alive!" He called out to his parents, who were still staring in shock. They came out of it sudden like, and then proceed to dance around the room. "Next time I see the boy ima beat him up so much!" Mitsuki said fondly grinning.

"I knew that little champ could do it!" Masaru grinned. "What do you mean old man! Your the one who broke the news to us!" Katsuki shouted, but also grinning.
