"i'm so sorry.." my soldier finished says as i fell to my knees and cried. this couldn't be real. mama's dead and mason killed her.

i had no idea where my papa was so i couldn't tell him what had happened.

"uhm," a soldier cleared his throat as he walked into the room. i looked up still crying. "there's someone at the door for you."

"tell them to come back another time," i spoke as i stood up. "i'm going to my room."

i run up the stairs and into my bedroom. i slam the door shut and lay down on my bed as i let it all out.

suddenly, there was a knock at my bedroom door and i groaned. "go away!" i yell but the door opens.

"what did i say! go aw-" i was cut off when i looked up and saw mattia.

his face was full of concern and he walked over to me and wrapped his arms around me and we laid down.

"what's wrong, princess?" he asks as he brushes the hair out of my face with his hand and then wipes the tears away but more just keep coming down.

"s-she's dead."

"who's dead?"

"mama." i cry and put my head back on his chest and let it all out.

"hey, hey, it's going to be okay." he reassured as he rubbed my back up and down.

"but it's not thought, mattia.. she was my mama and now she's gone."

"do you know who killed her?" he asks and i nod. i bring my head up and wipe away the tears.

"mason."

two days later

i told my papa what had happened and he did not take it well. he's got all of our soldiers looking for mason and he's going out in the car roaming the streets seeing if he can find him.

i just stayed in my room all day with mattia and we cuddled. i couldn't believe it. the person who's cared for me my entire life is dead. she's gone.

mattia's phone began ringing so he answered it. "hello."

i didn't hear exactly what they were saying or who the person was on the other line since i was drifting in and out of sleep.

"elora," mattia whisper yells and shakes me. i open my eyes and look up so i can face him. "hm?" i ask.

"they got sightings of mason in the last ten minutes."

i shoot up off of his chest my eyes wide. "seriously?"

"yes, do you want to come to my house and we can watch the CCTV footage?"

i quickly nod and get up. i follow him downstairs and out the house to his car.

we get in and mattia begins driving. i was bouncing my knee up and down from nerves.

when we finally pull up at the house we get out and run into the house. mattia leads me to the computer room where kairi and alejandro were.

they bring me in for a hug and i immediately hug them back. "we're so sorry.." alejandro mutters and a smile is put onto my face.

"it's okay guys, it's not your fault." my voice cracks but i quickly close my eyes and blink away the tears.

we pull away from the hug and they show me the CCTV footage. i watch as mason gets out of his car and shakes hands with another guy which i'm guessing was a soldier. they talked for a while and then mason and the guy walked into the building.

"that building is one of mariano's," kairi tells me and points to the screen. "it's his second warehouse."

"jesus, how many warehouses does this guy have?" i mutter under my breath.

"we know that mason and mariano go to this one together so when we go there they'll be there and we'll kill them." alejandro said.

"wait, we're going there?" i ask and the three boys nod. "when?"

"whenever you're ready." mattia says and i nod.

"uh.. we can go tomorrow if that's okay with you guys?"

the three nod. "i'll tell all my soldiers about what we're going to do and you tell yours."

i smile and bring them in for a hug one last time. "thank you."

"it's no problem, elora. anything for capo's girl and our childhood best friend." alejandro grinned and i let out a laugh.

"we love you." kairi admitted and i smiled. "i love you guys too."

ok so something big is gonna happen either next chpt or the one after that i'm not sure!
