i hadn't seen mattia or any of my old best friends since the warehouse and i wanted it to stay like that.

miguel and i grew closer. we became best friends and i might even think he has a crush on me but i wasn't going to confront him about it because it could be embarrassing.

my papa is still a little upset about my mama and is still on the search for mason and mariano but he's holding up good. i told papa that if he sees mattia then not to say anything about me because i didn't want him knowing that i was alive since he left me for dead, he wouldn't care wether i was alive or not. he also fired gia and fabiana from being apart of the fabinhos and they now work for the toupees.

and as for i, i'm still donna of the fabinhos but everyone but the fabinhos know that i'm pretending that i'm not. everybody thinks papa is the capo. i'm still not over mattia.. i mean how could you not be over the man you were in love for, for over a year? i miss my old best friends but if they were real they wouldn't of left me for dead.

i walk into the kitchen of the massive house i live in and see one of my soldiers standing in there.

"hello, ms gonzales." he bowed and i smiled. "i told you, you don't have to do that every time you see me, darrell."

darrell shrugged. "you are the donna, so of cource I'm going to bow to the lady in charge."

a even bigger smile was brought to my face. "thank you, darry."

darry walks out of the kitchen and i open the fridge and take out some milk and open another cupboard that contained all of the breakfast.

i take a box of cereal out and pour it into the bowl and then pour milk into it. i sit down at the breakfast bar and begin eating when one of my other soldiers walk in.

"ms gonzales!" they panic and i bunch my eyebrows together. "what? what's wrong?"

"we found mason." he said and i immediately dropped my spoon and stood up.

"that's great news!" i beamed. "where is he?" i ask and they lead me to the room where all of the files and computers were.

"right here." he said pointing to the screen. i saw mason hanging around outside of a club with girls around him. i scoffed and rolled my eyes.

"he's going to have a surprise when he sees me." i chuckle and begin to gather my things.

it had been seven months. seven months with the love of my life being gone. seven months of em trying to find mason and mariano.

kairi and fabiana are still together but a coup days after elora's death they went through multiple arguments and it wasn't healthy at all. kairi would show up late for work sometimes and fabiana sometimes wouldn't even show up from grieving and being angry.

alejandro and gia stayed strong. they got through it together. they were there for each other.

a new soldier joined the toupees. her names hannah. if i'm being honest she's not the best soldier i have. it took us five months just to train her how to fire a gun. she's always getting in my personal space as well and i hate it.

and me, i'm doing a little better. i've shut off any emotion and only stuck with one. and that's anger. i'm determined to find mason and when i do i'll let all my anger out of him.

"mattia! mattia!" alejandro yells as he runs down the stairs. i look up from sitting on the sofa and he has a smirk on his face. i widen my eyes indicating for him to carry on.

"we got eyes on mason!"

i quickly stood up and ran to the computer room where, kairi , gia , fabiana and hannah were all stood around looking at the computer.

"move!" i demand and they do. i look at the screen and see mason outside of a club with girls around him.

i chuckle to myself and shake my head. "let's go and pay him a visit."

another short one. this is just a filler chapter.
do any of u guys listen to music when reading or writing a book? because i do and it's annoying when there's any advert after a chapter and it cuts the music off.
