We landed at Talon's main headquarters, and I unpacked my things.
Crow: "Wait a moment.."
Everyone stopped and looked at me
"How the hell did you get my things? And how did you know what to get?"
Everyone ignored my question and continued walking
Oh.. this is going to be fantastic
At my new apartment, room, whatever you want to call it, I put my weapons in a fancy-schmancy high tech locker where I found a new field outfit.
Not much different from my old outfit, however it came with a new pair of contacts.
Sombra: "Looking at your new gear huh?"
Crow: "Yeah. Who made all of this stuff?"
Sombra: "Well, your clothing was made my Moira. We call her "Aunt Moira" for that very reason. But I made that contact lens in your hand there"
She gestured to the device in my hand, covered by glass in a jewelry looking box
Crow: "So what exactly does this thing so?"
Sombra: "So.. it will display your HUD, (Heads up Display) which will show you comms traffic, mission objective, and pings on the map, which are basically markers places by mission control and us."
Crow: "Neat."
Sombra: "Really? That's it?"
I simply cocked an eyebrow, signaling a very wise-assed "yes" back to her.
Sombra stormed out of the room, like I said, a child.
I slipped in the contact.
How is this practical if I can only see the display in one eye only?
I blinked it in and somehow the display showed up in both eyes
Magic? Maybe
Reaper's head appeared in the top left (exactly like the game)
Reaper: "Found your comm gear nicely? I don't care. Meet Widowmaker at the shooting range, I-"
Crow: "let me guess edge lord, you're gonna ping the location?"
Reaper: *angry grunt* "No actually. There's a map in your locker, asshole"
I turned off the HUD gear (I don't know how, but I did) and grabbed the map.
I met widow at the range with my guns.
Widow: "Ah, look who decided to show up."
Crow: "Yeah, yeah. What did you call me here for?"
Widow: "I'm glad you asked. Just for a little evaluation. Turn on your HUD for me."
I did as she requested
Widow: "Good, now put your weapons in your holster, we're going to be moving."
I holstered my beretta and noticed I had a second holster
Crow: "Two holsters, one gun. Design flaw? Or is here a surprise for me somewhere?"
Widow: "Not sure. If there is another weapon for you, then I haven't been notified of it. Pay no mind to it."
I brushed it off and we continued
Widow lead me to an open area, where there was at least an entire mile of progressive upward hill.
