It was time to prepare for the Ultimate Lazy Sunday. They didn't have to do anything for it, but every week they stock up on snacks and finish doing chores around the house so they can have one day to do absolutely nothing. Cub and Scar don't go places, they don't visit people, they just sit around together. It was a perfect way to relax after a jam-packed week, but that means they have to get everything done before then.

That's why Cub was furiously cleaning the pyramid. They don't hang out there, because it's too hot, but he wanted to get it off of his plate for the week. He was throwing all of his shulkers and spare items into Shibalba when he got a message from Scar.

Scar: im goin to the shoping district for snaks do yuo wnat anything

Thankfully, Cub is used to his horrible spelling and messaged him back.

Cubby: Im good thx

Scar, happy with what he got in reply, flew off to LLAMC. He picked up some eggs, sugar, and milk so he could bake a cake when he got home. He tipped the store 15 diamonds and left, carefully carrying the shulker box filled with the fragile ingredients. He and Cub typically stayed at the magical village, so he made sure the wizard tower was as cozy as can be. He went in the house next door and set the box down. He started to preheat the oven and got a mixing bowl with a spatula. He stirred the ingredients together until he had a nice batter, pouring the contents into a greased cake tin. While waiting for the cake to be done, he gathered what he would need for decorating.

Once Scar was done, he cautiously flew it up to the tower and placed the cake in the mini fridge with two bottles of MooPop. He started to sweep the wooden floor, but then realized mopping was the way to go. He adjusted the straps on his leg braces and gathered his favorite DVDs for the next day. Scar grabbed blankets and pillows for the couch that folded out into a bed, because when they say they don't go anywhere, they don't go anywhere. They turn off their communicators and stay away from outside contact. No one really knows why they avoid making plans on Sunday of all days, but they respect it. Jellie jumped on Scar's lap. Soon it would be time for a lazy Sunday.

Scar fell asleep with Jellie last night and woke up to Cub flying into the tower. He yawned.

"Good morning, Cubby." His voice was deep and gravelly. Cub felt a light blush appear on his cheeks.

"It's noon, but good morning anyway," Cub lightly chuckled at the shorter's confusion. He sat down next to the wizard-cowboy-mayor. "What do you want to do?"

"Hmmmnm," he stretched his arms up, cracking his back. "Nothing."

"Same," he pulled out The Lion King, knowing that it was Scar's favorite. "This?" The man smiled brightly and nodded. The enforcer took out the DVD and put it in the player as Scar grabbed snacks from the mini fridge. A cake and two bottles of MooPop. Cub couldn't help his heart from fluttering at the sight of his favorite foods lovingly made by his favorite person. Scar sat back down after cutting 2 slices of cake for him and Cub, giving his friend the slightly bigger piece. The two watched and ate, enjoying each other's presence.

Scar slowly shifted closer to Cub throughout the Disney movies, finally brave enough to lean his head on the taller man's shoulder in the middle of Inside Out. Their faces both flushed when Cub wrapped an arm around Scar. The two cuddled for the rest of the afternoon, but like, as bros. You could cut the tension with a knife. Jellie walked up past Scar's shoulder waving her tail in his face to get him to look away, towards Cub. Having succeeded, Scar groaned. Cub looked down at the man, to see what was the matter. Now they were staring at each other, their faces tinged pink. Scar looked at Cub's lips then back up at him. The enforcer softly nodded. They leaned in and shared a sweet kiss. After pulling away, Scar asked a question.

"Uhm, do you want to be my boyfriend?"

"I'd love that." He was pulled into a more passionate kiss, the movies still playing in the background.
