race's POV.
She opens her mouth however nothing comes out.
That silence didn't touch me the way Harry's is doing; in fact I don't expect anything from her. Nathan sighs scared and burns hole into Emilia's body.
He's going to stop anyway, why does this bother him? We accorded I was going to say Yes I do, and he was going to backwards saving me from Scott's hold. Did he change his mind?
He shifts nervously from one foot to the other before Emilia awkwardly speaks.
'' I'm sorry.'' Se excuses herself, her gaze linked to Scott's who is angrily warning her. For a second I watch him rocking his eyes from Emilia to Harry and she gasps before sitting down as fast as the wind.
I don't have the time to think about it, Scott's voice booms from next to us and I'm forced to face the officiant once again.
'' Let's end this, shall we? It's getting on my nerve''
I'm sure it will get on his never anyway, since Nathaniel will screw everything up.
'' I'm sorry Grace'' Nathaniel murmurs to me and I freeze in my place, staring at him astonished. Oh-oh
'' How...'' I mumble but I'm interrupted again. This time because of noises coming from right out of the door. My head is numb; I feel like being trapped into a jar for tips that is shaken all over again in hope to found some more money
'' Let me go, you filth bastard'' I hear someone saying, my heart jumps trying to processing what's happening but I'm too slow and silence falls around me once again.
I've just imagined it. My mind is playing lot of tricks lately. Harry is frozen up, the crowd is absorbed by the priest's words and no one seems willing to intervene. So this is it.
'' Now we can proceed to the v-'' the doors burst open and a little red head steps in.
'' Grace don't say yes!'' she screams and runs towards me however she's suddenly blocked by a man. So Amanda uses her sneaker to hit the guard's foot. The huge man dressed in black tries to catch her but a fist collides with his jaw.
'' Try again you prank,'' Lee says. I want to cry, seriously, my heart aches like it's going to fly away from my chest.
'' I thought you needed help,'' A blond haired girl exclaims stepping next to Amanda placing her hands on her hips. '' So I brought backups, Hope they are enough,'' Anya grins and glares back pointing to June and Alex, alongside with Lily and her boyfriend.
'' What are you doing?'' Scott shouts making the place fall silent.
'' What I should have done a while ago, defending my friends.'' June high fives Anya and she raises her chin proudly.
