Gally had vanished when Ada woke up the next morning. This wasn't particularly helpful when you considered the fact she got lost the night before.

However, she somehow managed to find her room and sneak inside before Brenda woke up from her sleep. Ada felt very grateful Brenda was such a deep sleeper so she couldn't question and tease her for being mysteriously absent during the night.

Or so she thought.

It was much later on, after a full day of planning out their rescue mission for Minho, that Ada realised she was quite, quite wrong about how deep of a sleeper Brenda was. Gally, Newt and Thomas all disappeared into the City to capture Teresa, and so as Ada stayed back again, Brenda was given another chance to ask her about Gally.

"You were with him last night, right?"

Brenda had been tailing Ada around the room, with the other girl pretending not to hear her many questions, but the last one forced her to stop. She whirled around, her eyes wide, and she immediately shushed her.

"How did you know I was gone last night?"

Brenda scoffed, posing the other an unamused look. Then, realising that Ada was fully serious, she chuckled a little.

"You're not sneaky, you know. You tripped over a few times whilst trying to leave."

Ada waved a dismissive hand, trying to ignore the embarrassed blush that threatened her cheeks. Brenda's smirk told her that she spotted her flustered state, choosing to question her again.

"Admit it! You were in his room."

Ada cursed the fact she couldn't hide stuff well, and the fact she really did like Brenda enough to just tell her. It didn't seem like the girl would've given in easily anyway.

"I was, but I honestly have no idea how I got there."

Brenda's face first flooded with confusion, but then she laughed, and it was clear she didn't believe her. Just as the girl in return attempted to explain the situation, four figures came into the room, one of whom had a bag on their head.

The boys had returned with Teresa.

The nicer side of Ada felt a little bad about the way they captured her, but the angry part - which was much more present - was perfectly fine with it. Teresa ruined everything, after all.

As Gally guided Teresa to a chair, Ada felt suddenly reminded of his vendetta against the girl back in the Glade. It felt like a different life, because it was so different from how everything was now. The only thing that was perhaps the same was Gally's distaste for Teresa.

Although that's probably a little different as well. Because he's probably grown more hatred towards her.

When Gally first heard what Teresa had done, he couldn't deny that his first thought was how back in the Glade, he was suspicious of her - and it turned out he was right to be. However, this sense of triumph disappeared in less than a second, thanks to the overwhelming sadness for Minho being held captive by WCKD.

Gally couldn't care less that Minho almost killed him. In fact, he almost admired the boy's quick thinking. Gally knew that Minho was trying to protect Thomas - which Chuck also managed to do successfully - and he knew it wasn't personal, no matter how resentful the boy was to all of them previously in the Glade.

The point was that now, Gally hated Teresa more than ever. The level at which he despised her in the Glade was so minimal in comparison that he almost missed feeling it. To tell the truth, he longed for the time when the girl didn't bother him so much. Because even now, with her tied to a chair, she was managing to get on his nerves.
