I woke up to find myself lying on my still made bed wearing a leather jacket that I didn't know who it belonged to. The sun was streaming through the window. Someone had pulled the curtains aside. And someone was sleeping on the floor next to my bed. After a second, the majority of last night returned and I realized Will was sleeping on my floor, and the leather jacket was his. He looked so peaceful sleeping. What I didn't remember was how I came to wear the jacket, how I got home, and why he was sleeping on the floor. I grabbed one of my bed's throw pillows and tossed it at his sleeping form. He jolted awake and looked up at me with glazed grey eyes. I was in deep shit.

He looked just as disoriented as I had felt a moment ago. I silently watched him rub the sleep from his eyes, and run a hand through his hair. He came to a sitting position and just stared at the floor. He picked his head up, his eyes searched the room until they landed on me and he blinked a few times.

"I fell asleep." He said, his voice thick. My eyes widened at him and my cheeks began to heat up. He raised an eyebrow at me. I shrugged out of his jacket and stood up.

"I'm going to get go change." I squeaked. I felt his gaze on me as I grabbed a fresh set of clothes and scrambled into the bathroom. I raced to get changed and brushed my teeth twice, rinsing with mouth wash each time. When I had finished, I peaked through the door to find him still sitting there slightly confused. I came back out and searched through my closet until I found my ex's 'got milk' t-shirt that I stole. I handed it to Will. He stood, taking it silently and started to pull off the one he was wearing. I couldn't help but stare at him as he did so. He noticed my staring and turned around. As he started to pull the fresh shirt on, I noticed two scarred lines in his back, in between his shoulder blades. When he turned around, he looked less threatening than he did the night before. I held out my hand for his other shirt, and he placed it in my hand the same moment my dad knocked on the door and gave me a look as he noticed Will standing beside me.

"Good morning Will. Did you spend the night?" He asked.

"No sir, just climbed through the window." Will replied smoothly. Any trace of sleep had faded from his voice.

"Well then. Would you like to stay for breakfast?"

"Yes, sir."

"I'll see you two downstairs in bit." He left my door open and I collapsed onto my bed.

"Don't get any ideas."

"About?" I asked, looking up at him. He was staring at the soft my dad had been moments ago.

"This isn't going to be a recurring thing." I snorted.

"You're my neighbor, and my age. He at least thinks we're friends. Besides..." I trailed off thinking about the way Joey had taken my hand and held it practically all night long. If I was being honest, I would've thought Joey was the one the take me home, if it weren't for the fact Will was my cover in the first place.

"Let's go." I blinked. Will never spoke that rough, even when he was being mean on purpose. I threw his shirt into my laundry bin on the way to the kitchen.

"Did you guys hear about the volunteer trash pick up? There was a party out in the woods last night and they left a horrible mess. I was thinking you and I could sign up, Nik. What do you say?" My dad asked, handing me a plate with pancakes on it.

"I got a text from my sister saying she's making me go." Will said, thanking my dad for breakfast.

"How about we walk over after we eat? We can grab your sister on the way." Will smiled at him, and I could tell that he wanted to say no.

"I'll let her know." Was all he replied with. But I saw him pull his phone out from his pocket under the table and send a text. We ate breakfast in silence until my dad looked between me and Will.
