"Father!" Senjuro was at his father's side in the blink of an eye, desparately trying to shake him awake.

"Father! Wake up! What's wrong?" His eyes shifted over to me, who was standing some distance between them, "Di-did you do something to him? A blood demon art?" Fear showed present in his eyes.

"No, I don't have any blood art that can do something like that," My brows had furrowed, "Do you think that he might've caught a fever? He looks like he might have one, this rain isn't helping either..." I had pointed out.

Senjuro looked to his father nervously, "I can't carry him... What am I going to do..?" Fear and worry completely embraced him.

I stepped forward towards the two, "Please! Don't come any closer!" His meek voice called out as he pathetically scooted away from me.

"But... Let me help you, I can carry him," I offered with the ghost of a smile on my face.

"No thank you!" Senjuro shouted back at me.

"Darling, this rain is getting worse, please let me help you. You don't have much other option," My tone only got more sweet until he caved in.

"Yes, please..."

With a few swift movements I lifted his father up and onto my back. My clothes were also wet- this little visit turned out to be some dramatic display...

"Pardon me, but can you put my paints under the tree over there in the canvas bag for me?" I asked him as I picked up his umbrella and covered the both of us -not that it mattered, all three of us were soaked wet to the bone.

Senjuro nodded and scurried off, picking up his own umbrella and putting it over himself. He carefully put the paints back in the canvas bag and made his way back to me. Bag in one hand and his umbrella in the other.

"Can you guide me to your home? We should be swift about it so you don't catch a cold too." Senjuro nodded to me and lightly trotted in the opposite direction, I followed closely behind.

The thumping of rain only got more and more violent, and my body seemed to only get more colder against what wet was still attached to me. Because of how harsh the showers were getting the dirt road we were taking was reduced to nothing but mud, so much so that the both of us had abandoned our socks and shoes for the remaining of the run. Unconsciously, Senjuro's father cringed onto me and I could feel the heat his body was seeming to radiate. We were going too slow, at this rate Senjuro would be getting a bad cold too.

"Boy!" I called out to him, making him stop in his tracks and turn to me, "We're going too slow, latch your arms around my neck and wrap your legs around my waist under your father's."

As much as I hated ordering such a nice boy around, he took my instructions and latched onto me. The canvas bag and his umbrella were tucked between Senjuro's and I's stomachs, his face showed red with what I assumed was discomfort.
