One Last Good One (part 3 of 3)

There stood infront of me, my wretched sister holding my loved one and kin hostage. Rage builded up in me and anger was clearly visible. "[You! You evil dog!]" I yell at her and she only chuckled "[is that how you say hello now?]". "[Why, why did you bring them into this!]" And she shrugged "[why not, I know their your breaking point]". Im going to rip her throat out for this.

"[Now, lets get to the point. What information do you have for us?]" She asked with a smug grin "[or did you lie to us Adrian]". I knew this would be brung up, what could I even say. "[Come on little brother we are waiting]" she said again tapping her foot waiting for an answer. I was in defeat, I dont know what to say but I had to say something. A sigh left my mouth but was masked by my... well mask. "[The main operation base is in England]" I said and she smirked "[is that all, thats sad little brother]" she then pulled out her pistol, and aimed ot towards Alexis head. "[Dont you fucking dare!]" I reached for my holster but the other masks lifted their rifles.

"[Brother its just a bit of encouragement]" she said with a snicker. But I fell quiet, I didnt know what to say. "[Brother you have ten seconds to answer starting now]" and she started to slowly count down. "[Eight]" there was a faint sound of a rappel being thrown. "[Four]" the person was right outside the window. "[One]" but before she reached zero Panther went full send through the window landing on top of her and he shot the four mask grunts. This took me by shock but as soon as the grunts fell to the ground dead I only had one idea in mind.

I ran up to Alexi and slid to a stop infront of her as I grabbed her in a tight hug. "[Im sorry please forgive me please im so sorry]" these words rushed out my mouth as I broke down into tears. The mask hid the sound of crying and it only made it sound like quick breaths. Alexi grabbed my tight and cried into my shoulder and the two kids ran up to us both and joined the long sought reunion. Kidd must have said something but I didnt hear nor care I felt home.

Then I could hear my sister struggling to move and I broke the hug to see Kidd trying to remove her but I stood up and walked to her and spoke with anger "[come on now big sister strop struggling, you will only be tired when you arrive apon death]" and she only spat back at me, missing very terribly too. As Kidd pushed her away I could hear here saying something and Kidd just told her to shut her mouth.

Before I turned back to my family I pulled off my gas mask and let it swing from its holders. Alexi's first reaction was a sweet smile but I knew she held back pain. So I walked over to her and picked her up, yes in bridal style but who cares her legs are broken. My son walked next to me holding my daughters hand, Im glad there are no people to see this right now. But we made our way down stairs and eventually outside where I met the familar faces of my comrades. Tachanka got some paramedics attention and they ran over with one of the movable bed things. I gently placed her down on it and they started to hook up the stuff they needed to relieve pain. I felt a little warm hand reach into mine and my son asked "[daddy what are they doing to mum]" and I just crouch down and looked at him straight into the eyes "[they are helping her do not worry she will be fine]" and he just hugged me.

I felt the presence of someone and I turned my head to see Tachanka "[so these are the little ones you dont stop going on about?]" he said with his usual hearty chuckle which could only make me chuckle along with. "[Father who is this?]" I heard my son say. Before I could answer Tachanka said it himself "[My name is Alexandr and Im a coworker to your father]" and my son just nodded a bit scared of Tachankas voice and stature we all come to love. "[We where about to leave since our job is done but I see you found your family so that puts us in a connondrom]" he said but I though for a second "[well they currently have nowhere to stay and I dont think theor mother is in a good state to take care of children. Unless I stay here they are coming back with me temporarily]" Alexandr looked at me and nodded "[I will inform six, now you inform your wife]" and with that I walked over to the paramedics and looked down at my wife "[listen Alexi, I know you wont like this but there is no choice. I will have to leave back to the base and I dont want to leave you with these two, I will only be a short time but they will have to come back with me, Im sorry but Im doing this for you]" and she only let out a long sigh "[do what must be done]" and with that I gave her a kiss and walked back to the group. Tachanka must be updating them on whats happening and for some reason I couldn't see no conplaints.

As I regrouped I introduced my kin "first I know this may sound ridiculous but I have no choice. But first these are my kin, first my son. His name is Dimitri, quick warning once his mouth starts there is no stopping and he does know english. Second this is my daughter Irina, unlike her brother she know little english" they all nodded and Finka said "well lets get home then" and we all piled into the van. I held Dimitri close to me and had Irina in my lap. It was a mostly quiet trip as no one had something to say. When we reached the airport we all got into the same plane again and after takeoff something supried me. Dimitri started talking to the other boys but he was mostly interested in Kidd and he asked many questions about him and my daughter Irina chatted with Finka and Finka was so sweet to her it was kinda funny. Well another long trip home.
