Y/n, on the other hand, was well aware someone was following her. She was not sure who, or why, but she could sense it. A strong aura, similar to Saiki's, identical even. She did not take Saiki for a stalker, though, and rubbed the thought from her mind as she went on her way, getting some books and movies from the library.
Worried the stalker was dangerous, though was stalker isn't, she kept an eye out for anyone strange through her whole trip to a from the local library, only letting her guard down when she was finally home, and felt the aura slowly slip away. Finally feeling the weight leave her shoulders, she laid her movies and books out in front of her.
Y/n had a hobby of finding unusual eye and hair colors in movies and books. It was harder to find things in movies, though there were a few slip ups in some, saying black or brown hair, brown or hazel eyes, and she bought those movies from the library and kept them on a large shelf in her living room. The books were more common to find those bland colors in hair and eyes, though still rare, and she bought every single one of the ones with slip ups for her shelf.
Y/n was not sure why, but she always felt something was off. It seemed like everything gave her a slightly strange vibe, specially eccentric people, or people with brighter colors than usual in their hair or eyes. Since she was in middle school, she was determined to discover what the off feeling was. So, she started searching for any sign in what the weird thing was, and why she felt it when no one else seemed to. For a while, it seemed to be a lost cause, but lately, she had a breakthrough.
Y/n, when she first started her research, searched for the oldest form of media she could. Old books and movies was what she was able to get her hands on, and they proved to her that something was up. Things were just.. more bland, back in the day. So, slowly, she went up in the times. She started the search in middle school, and went up so slowly that she finally reached somewhat close to modern day by the time she was a sophomore. You could say that going that slow was a bit obsessive, but she was thorough with her research and did not want to half ass her work.
She noticed, when she reached media that was made when she was young, maybe just starting school, the slip ups stopped entirely. She found it suspicious, and had started to conclude that the weirdness started around that time.
Y/n finally decided that she would ask what others thought about the situation. Not just anyone, though, she needed to ask people that she could trust so they would not think that she was crazy. She was in for a long ride, she knew, since she would have to work to make the friends, but she did not give up on her research. Not for anything. Plus, she was tired of being lonely. She decided to make her yearly friends, anyway, so it all lined up perfectly.
