After the kids were all in bed, Marshall lay in bed next to his wife. He was still upset by what had happened earlier that evening. He sighed heavily. Madelyn looked at him.
"He will be fine. He was more upset that Jamison Michaels was the one to bring it to his attention than anything else," she said.
"It just sucks. If I could go back I would have done the whole thing differently babe, I swear," he said.
"I know Marshall. It's all right."
"No it's not. I am a screwed up person for ever thinking that about him,"
She sighed. He pulled her into his arms and snuggled into her. She leaned up to kiss him.
"Baby, its incredible the way you can still make me want you after all this time," he said, placing her hand on his manhood.
She chuckled at him. He was impressed with how she handled him still. He couldn't believe that he was almost 60 and still in the rap game. He sighed knowing his son would calm down after a few days.
Monday came quickly and they headed to the meeting with the private school with Malakai. He was ready for this. He wanted away from the Michaels boy as quickly as he could. He looked around as they pulled up to the main building.
"Dad, this is a school?" he asked.
"Yeah man it is," Marshall replied.
They walked inside together. Marshall checked in with the secretary. They waited for the person who was going to give them the tour. Malakai was staring around the office. Madelyn looked at her husband. He took her hand in his. She smiled at him.
"Mom, this place is crazy," Malakai said.
"I know bud," she replied.
A woman stepped out of the office and looked at the family. She recognized Marshall right away.
"Good morning Mr. Mathers," she said trying to stay professional.
"Good morning," Marshall shook her hand, "this is my wife Madelyn and our son Malakai."
She nodded to the two of them. It gave Madelyn a weird vibe.
"I am the director of admissions. My name is Cathy." the woman said.
They nodded. Marshall slipped an arm around his wife. She leaned into him.
"We are looking for the best place to move our son to as he is being bullied at his current school," Marshall said.
"Well we hope that this building it up to your standards," she replied.
"As long as my son is happy this year and you can accommodate my triplets next year with their needs, I am sure it will be."
"Triplets?"
"They are fifth graders this year. We have a total of five children together. I am sure, being a fan, that you have already been aware of this."
The woman stared at him. She hadn't thought about that when he had contacted them about his son. She had known that he had five and that he was married to Madelyn. They had been married for almost seventeen years now. Marshall looked at his wife who just shook her head.
"Well let's begin the tour shall we," the woman asked.
They followed her around as she explained various parts of the building to them. Madelyn watched her son who had a huge grin on his face as they walked around the school.
"Mom, they have horses," he said.
She nodded. Cathy turned to look at them for a moment.
"We believe that responsibility for our students goes a long way. Each of them is responsible for helping in the barn with the horses." she said.
"How would the school be able to accommodate our triplets?" Marshall asked.
"You mentioned special needs?" Cathy responded.
"Our daughter has hearing aids. She is partially deaf. Our one son has dyslexia and struggles to read as well as do math. Our other son has a speech impediment that causes him to stutter and sometimes mispronounce words."
Cathy nodded. Accommodating two of them would be easy as a speech teacher was on the campus. The one she was concerned about was the learning disability.
"He has a tutor that comes to help him one on one now," Madelyn explained.
"We could accommodate that here as well. We also have smaller classrooms with more one on one attention for all of our students." Cathy replied.
Madelyn nodded. She was worried about her triplets. They had already been thru so much. Marshall was fairly impressed with the school. He looked at Malakai who was obviously happy. They decided to make the switch to the school.
Madelyn just wanted her son to be happy. She just wanted that for all of her kids.
"He can start tomorrow. We will fill out all of the paperwork today and get his class schedule situated before you leave today," Cathy told them.
They sat down with a counselor for Malakai to pick out his electives. He was beyond thrilled with a new school. They left the building a few hours later. Malakai needed to be withdrawn from the previous school as well as his transcripts sent to the new school.
