Short creatures with dark skin burst through the open doors. People screamed in fear and ran away from the windows.

"Dark elves," Loki whispered before his hands whipped once and two draggers appeared in his palms. You heard how Mjolnir flew into Thor's hand as he walked to the front. Everyone was now gathered behind you three, since the dark elves had stopped in their tracks. You reached for your stylus but were stopped as a cold voice cut through the air.

"We don't seek a fight. We just want the Nephilim," one of the elves voiced.

"The Nephilim were never seen again after they disappeared to Midgard. What makes you think one of them would be here?" Odin's voice boomed.

"Well... we have sources that told us, that one of them was here," the elve, that spoke before, replied.

"Even if one of them would be here, we would not give him or her to you. They are not something to trade," Loki growled.

Unnoticed your hands slipped into the hidden pockets in your dress. Now, your short sword and your stylus were in your hands, ready to fight.

"We'll get them, if you cooperate or not," the dark elve spoke again before the two other elves set off to fight. Loki and Thor killed them in a heartbeat. But then, more burst through the doors and chaos erupted.

Your stylus hovered over your left shoulder for a moment and the runes appeared black on your skin. You would need any power you could get. The blade from your sword shoot out of the handle and you began to fight.

Dark elve after dark elve rushed your way. You killed them all, black blood spilling endlessly but one was able to snatch your stylus from you. You killed him, which sent the silvern object with the two crystals in it flying across the room. For a moment you were unfocused and this chance was used by one of the elves.

His sword pierced through your back and sank deep into your flesh, just next to your spine. You were able to kill it before your knees gave out and you fell to the floor. Loki saw it and rushed to your side. Panic was written all over his face.

"Pull... it... out..." you managed to breathe out. Loki denied that this was the right thing to do, telling you that you would only lose more blood.

"Do... it..." you whispered, your eyes stern. Signing he obligated.

Now, more blood was spilling and you crumbled backwards into his lap.

"Stay with me, please," Loki pleaded. You smiled softly at him, your skin getting paler. The dark-haired man wanted to place his hand on your cheek but you guided it to your neck, placing it on your healing rune. Your eyes closed and you breathed deeply as the familiar tickling set in. You heard Loki weeping as he must have thought you were dying. For what felt like forever, no sound was heard, only screams of pain mixed with sounds of weeping that came from the man that held your hands tight in his.

The pain started to vanish as breathing became easier again. Your eyes fluttered open. Black hair was tickling your skin as hot tears fell onto your hands. Your heart broke by the fact that Loki, the man your heartbeat quickened way too often for, was crying because of you.

"Hey, don't cry my Prince. There is no reason for it," you said softly. Emerald eyes, red and puffy from crying, locked with yours. You could see the pain and the confusion in his eyes.

"You-you're alive," Loki stated, not believing his own words.

"Yes, my dear. And I'm only because of you. You've activated my healing rune just like you did in the garden as I fell into the blackberries. You saved me," you said, grabbing his hands. A smile spread over his handsome face and fast you were pulled into a tight hug.
