"You may lay your right hand into the right of your partner just as the left into the left," Odin instructed. The pair did as told. A violet band was used to bind their hands together.
"Just as your vows promised, you will be bounded to each other as long as the band of your love holds," he said, as the soft fabric was wrapped around their hands and wrists. "If it is true, you will find each other ever again. You will return to each other and will never leave the other one truly. You may not be there at all times but you will be in the other's heart. Just as they are now, your hands will be there when the other one needs them. You seal this bound with the words 'I will always be there'." The Prince gazed into his bride's eyes, receiving the same loving look he gave.
"I will always be there," they spoke together, nearly lost in each other's eyes.
"So it be," Odin boomed, waving his hand over the pair's, letting a golden band appear on each's ring finger. They had an infinite knot engraved on them, edging a tree of life. The ribbon disappeared as Odin continued.
"You now may kiss the bride," he spoke, a big smile on his face. The Prince reached for the hood, relieving his bride being even more beautiful than before. Her arms reached up to wrap around his neck as his pulled her closer by her waist. The freshly wedded gazed at each other for a moment, making sure this moment was real before closing the gap between them and sharing a loving kiss. The crowd cheered and whistled, letting the smile on their faces get even wider.
Soon people were chatting happily till the groom leat his bride to the dance floor that was set up between some of the old trees. A slow song came on and Loki pulled his love against him, his hand in her's and the other one on her hip. They slowly swayed around the place, eyes on each other as they moved. As the next song came on, people joined them and happy chattering mixed with laugher filled the air.
Exhausted, (Y/N) and Loki left the wooden panels, talking with different people. Suddenly, (Y/N)'s mom came from behind them, straddling her daughter as she threw her hands on her shoulders.
"My little girl, I'm so happy," the woman cried, wrapping her arms around her daughter and her husband. The Prince smiled uncomfortably at his bride.
"I am too. I couldn't wish for a better person by my side," the woman that just got a princess said, smiling at her loved Prince.
"You better don't hurt my little girl or else you'll have a problem Mister 'I am a god'," your mom threatened, her finger directed at Loki's chest. The dark-haired man raised his hands in defense as (Y/N)'s face heated up in embarrassment.
"Okay mom, maybe it would be better if you looked for dad," you suggested, turning her away from you.
"Also, I am more worried about my heart. Who in the nine realms does know what this breathtaking and strong woman is capable of. Maybe she'll leave me heartbroken to start over in another realm?" the man wondered aloud as he placed his hands on his bride's hips.
"If you really believe this, you don't know her. If she decides to stay with someone, she does this till he breaks her heart," the woman winked as the freshly wedded held each other close. They chuckled before sharing a kiss.
----------
Hours later everyone was at least slightly drunk. Thor blared a song, leaning heavily on Lady Sif as she hummed with him, a blush on her cheeks.
"Hey, Loki, look," she whispered in his ear, pointing lightly over to Thor. The God's eyes landed on his brother, facing Lady Sif while singing loudly and wrong.
"It seems like someone is in love," the (H/C)-haired woman cooed, watching the God of thunder and the Valkyrie.
"It appears that you may be right," the Prince smirked. A head fell against his shoulder and he looked down. His wonderful wife held his arm softly as she stared into the distance. His thin lips placed a soft kiss on her hair, letting their both hearts flutter. The warm smile on the woman's face was disrupted by a yawn.
"Hey, what do you think about leaving and going to bed?" he asked, his emerald green eyes looking into her's.
"But what about our guests?" she asked, looking up at him. Loki looked down at her, his smile turning into a slight smirk.
"They will be fine. I assure you." You nodded in agreement. Then a yelp escaped her sweet lips as her groom picked her up bridely style.
"Loki," she laughed and sequenced her eyes shut. As her eyes opened again, they both were in the Prince's chamber. Another squeak erupted from her lips as she was thrown onto the soft sheets.
The lanky, pale man followed her, landing with a huff next to her, laughing brightly. Small hands reached to cupped high cheekbones, pulling them close. A soft kiss turned heated, causing a low growl to erupt.
"My life could not be more beautiful than it is now since you are my Queen," a deep voice purred.
"Well, I may have an idea of what could make it even more perfect..." A questioning sound was heard.
"Since you are the King of my heart and I'm your Queen, what do you think about an heir?" she smirked.
"You mean-" his question was cut off as lips crashed against each other, followed by hands roaming eagerly.
This night, the usually so silent corridors were filled with sounds of passion and admiration.
