You returned to Earth, Loki holding you close the entire way. A part of you was happy to be back but something in you already longed for Asgard again. All the Avengers had welcomed you both back and had celebrated with pizza and an XXL movie night. As always, you had cuddled up to Loki but this time, you had to prevent sweet kisses from becoming make-out sessions. It was quite funny because, at times, one of the others would look at you two and would catch you kissing. They would turn a shade of red and look away fast.

It was way past midnight as you got into your bed. Loki pulled you close into his chest, as you cuddled up in your pillow. He kissed your cheek as you fell asleep nearly in an instant.

--- Time skip --- (a big one)

It was now nearly summer and the sun shone brightly into your room as you woke up. Your bed felt cold and you looked at Loki's spot in the bed. His blanket was folded and you were confused. He was never up before 9 but it was only 8.37. You got up and put on some clothes, turning back around to make sure Loki really was not there. He really wasn't but now you noticed a deep green envelope on his pillow.

You took it and saw golden lettering on it. The font was fancy and said: 'For my darling'. Your heart swelled as you read it. Loki was really sweet and you loved him with all your might.

In the envelope, there was an old looking paper but the black ink on it clearly was fresh.

'My dear (Y/N),

I'm sorry that I was not there when you woke up but I have my reasons. Today is a special day and therefore I have prepared something. If you go into the kitchen, you will find a green package with a golden ribbon and a card.

With Love, Loki'

Smiling you made your way into the kitchen, still holding the card in your hand. On the kitchen island, you saw the package Loki had spoken of. Underneath the ribbon, an also green card was placed. Careful not to damage it, you pulled it out and read it.

'I see, you have found my present. I hope that you could wear it when you come to meet me. But for now, open it. I can't wait to see you love.

Your Loki

PS: Breakfast is on the table.

Curious you pulled at the bow and opened the box. Inside there was a beautiful black dress.

You couldn't believe it, this man had gotten you a dress and had made you breakfast

You couldn't believe it, this man had gotten you a dress and had made you breakfast. It was silent as you ate your meal. Thoughts of why Loki was doing this shoot through your head. Today was not your anniversary, it wasn't valentine's day or any other holiday... so why did he do this?

You were nearly done eating your favorite thing for breakfast as Nat entered the room.

"Oh, you're up and you have found the box. That's good," she said, taking a frozen yogurt out of the fridge. Just as you wanted to ask, where everyone was, she spoke again.

"The trickster asked me to tell you to go to 'your spot' in the library. I don't know what this means but I told you because I'm nice." The red-haired woman rolled her eyes at the last part. It seemed that Loki used this line to make her tell you this. You finished your food, thanking Nat for telling you and headed for the library.

You and Loki had a spot where you always cuddled in, reading, when it was raining outside. He would put up pillows and you would hang up a blanket between the bookshelves, creating a tent. Also, he would create small flying dots of light, illuminating the cozy corner.

You arrived at the library, going to the section, filled with your and Loki's books. Everyone had their own section, filled with books they would like or had already read. Your shoes made a sound as you stepped up the wooden stairs, filled with old-looking books. Since you and Loki were the last ones to join, your books would be upstairs but it didn't bother you.

As you reached the bookshelves, you always would cuddle up between, you saw that the place was set up as usual. Big pillows laid on the ground and leaned against the shelves. A creme-colored blanket was hung up between the racks and the small lights were floating around. Remembering the times you've sat here for hours reading, pulled a smile onto your face. You sat down and admired how beautiful everything was till you noticed a difference in the book order.

At the spot, your favorite books were supposed to stand, there was a black box with a black bow on it. Again a card was placed underneath the ribbon. Your fingers pulled at the golden paper and opened it.

'My lovely Lady,

You have caused such a big change in my life, that I nearly can't believe it happened but then again, you are next to me and remind me that it is true and that I was really that lucky to meet you. There are times that I think I don't deserve the love you're giving me and all you do is smile at me and make these thoughts go away. I can't describe how happy I am that you are a part of my life and that you make me a better version of myself every day without requiring anything for it. You truly are the biggest blessing in my life.

I hope to see you at the small coffee shop down the street later. I love you, my angel.'

You teared up, placing your hand on your mouth. How could someone be that sweet? After you regained your composure you opened the box just to lose it again. Inside there was a pair of beautiful shoes and your lip quavered again. They were perfect and you thought you didn't deserve them.
