Chapter 55: Raven Rises

The prophecy has been fulfilled as shadow of the past has been unleashed.

The cloudy sky darken as the hail of snow shifted into cataclysmic storm and the ground broken by black ashen smoke into the center of the swirling cloud above. An ominous presence overcast the world below, oppressing the living and the dead with such force that even ghost and demons are shaken.

Something terrible must happened when even the youkai are terrified, that the parade stopped out of sudden. Even their carefree leader shift his attention to the black smoke that rise from the other side of the mountain. The battle ceased as there's no words exchanged, as everyone and everything are speechless.

At the same time, Urahime Masakura turned back to her home, and for the first time, her expression filled with dread dread. She knew what just happened and she need to act quickly! However as soon as she took off her eyes from Nurarihyon, the old man gave her a devilish grin and cackling before his image distort as the surrounding world warped, and so the old man vanished out of nowhere. 

The great priestess tried to stop him, but he's already gone. Just when she almost could beat him, he decide to flee... No, he didn't run away out of fear. That drunken old bastard wouldn't care about that. There must be something that piqued his interest... Something exceptional....

But this is not the time to worry about Nurarihyon...

Something worse than Hyakki Yagyou festival would happen soon...

Entrance of Daisenkou, 02:15 AM

The tremendous tremor shaken the very foundation of Daisenkou and the storm surging through the forest beyond. Both man and monsters scatters away as soon as the lightning strike down, detonating the ground with a bright burst of flame, and through the hole comes the cursed mist that rise into the sky.

Amidst the turmoil, the Mirage of SPD rushed out along with the successor of Urahime herself. 

"Tomo! Hey! What happened!" Fahmir shouted from the ground as he and his squad running as fast as they can to catch up with she who fly through the air.

"Sorry Fahmir but my sister comes first!" Tomo shouted from above before she kicks away and darting straight into the crumbling temple, that meant to be their home. The pagoda is falling apart with both wind and earth at unrest, but she didn't care because her precious little sister is there!

"Haku!!" She called out for his sister as she dives into the ruin! Seconds passed and the pillars begin to break down, with many furniture thrown out by the violent quake and harsh storm. The building rips apart with every woods and bamboos splintering, statues of the sacred and their presents are collapsing down, as malevolent force destroys everything with such intense hatred, that everything soon engulfed by the darkness, as tornado forming and expanding rapidly.

Then, a blinding light of doom flashes as another powerful lightning strikes down! It demolishing the great temple of Daisenkou to burning pieces, ashes and cinder. Everyone shielded their eyes as the rubles blown away by the wind, and they barely can see anything through the grey blur of the storm.

"Fahmir! What's happening!?" Noir shouted as he's holding on to the nearby building.

"I have no idea!" Fahmir shouted back as he's hugging one of the tree. His stamina and strength giving up quickly as he struggled badly.
