He recalled his childhood memories.
Garcia Marrow, also known as The Executioner, one of the descendant of the saints that save Balearic from Baal centuries ago. But unlike his great grandfather that took the heroic duty, he didn't had much chance to gain glory than defending the ruins, remaining of a battlefield long ago.
With Miguel, son of another great saint, and Lionel, a young descendant of saint (also the youngest among the three), they guard the temple where Baal been sealed, thus they known as Guardians of the Temple.
Actually, Baal already been defeated. All that's left is just his curse, which persist to exist, and the sword that once used to kill the deity.
Now, he's heading down, facing an enemy which was aiming to awakened Baal. Once again, great battle in Balearic island will occur....
"Garcia? You seems spaced out." Miguel asked his friend, which was guarding the temple alongside with few of the teenage from SPD.
"Ahh? I'm fine. I'm just.... I remember a prophecy from my great grandfather." He replied, trying not to worry his friend.
"Prophecy from Santos Marrow? I don't remember he had such capability." Miguel piqued. Garcia shrug. "I don't think it's prophesying capability. It's more like... intuition..." He made some break as he try to recall the words.
"The curse of Baal still remain. As long it does, then safety of Balearic will never be achieved. But one day, there'll come a great battle once again, where the curse will be purged for ever."
Miguel listened to the quizzical message, and the Mirages does too.
"Does it means that today is the day when Baal will truly be defeated?" Noir speak to his comrade.
"Perhaps. But isn't Baal already defeated? At least, physically killed." Almerich replied.
"Well, maybe, Baal will never truly be gone until the curse gone? It seems like.... I'm not sure, but the curse is extraordinary. It tainted the air with evil aura." Johan start to speak too.
"Whatever! We'll kick Baal if he returned again!" Laya laughed cheerfully, despite the fact that she's so physically based, and probably martial art won't do a thing against the pagan deity.
Reynold only sighed at everyone, happy that they're all positive, but also feeling worried. He felt like there something bad going to happened soon...
Then, Miguel suddenly stand up. He walk forward and stare at the distance.
"Something... big just entered this area.... It's not a creature.... A vehicle?" He analyze the situation as he sense intruder coming. He set boundary all around the places, for safety and to watch over the situation.
"Vehicle? Could it be that boss of Velazquez? I've seen it before." Johan speak, and his face filled with worry.
"You does? When?" Reynold asked. Johan turn to him and realize he's the only one among his previous group that present there. "Well... When I'm still around Tybard, Melisa and Gourd, we crossed path with the leader of our enemy, Jorge Velazquez. He's inside a huge tank-like armored vehicle. It looks really powerful since the canon can even destroy bunch of human-sized boulders in few shots."
Everyone look at each other. Even Miguel goes pale. "This is bad... My barrier is mostly vulnerable to explosive and strong impact...."
From the distance, Jorge already reach the proximity to attack his target. His battle tank aim at the temple on the distance. Inside, Jorge issue an attack as he watch the temple from afar. Bullets loaded into the chamber as mechanism rotate, and in ignition of fire, blast of smoke and deafeningly loud explosion, equal to a big bomb, fired as gunpowder blown out.
