It was burning, the great fire.

They accused our family as witches, they accused us as evil...

So they want to burn us, just like what they did to my mother.

I hide in my room, cowering, trembling, shaking...

The door suddenly slam open, scare me as I gaze upon the figure with my open wide eyes...

It's my father. He wounded, soaked in his own blood, and his clothes torn.

"Isabelle... They already everywhere. I can't hold them longer..."

I wait, I listen, and I look at his teary eyes with look of both worry and sadness. His dying state hurt my heart more than anything.

My father that I love, the only one that I had after my mother burned at the stake...

"Isabelle... I entrusted you with this... Never show or gave it to anyone, promise me!!"

In rush, he gave me his book and a bloody, silver key.

"Read this, and you will learn everything. Just promise me that when you fully understand everything... Fulfilled my one and only wish. I believe you could do it."

He took a pause, and smile at me with eyes filled with sadness, and yet he show a hint of pride even in with all the pain that he need to bear.

"I love you, Isabelle. Your daddy and mommy always would love you."

It was the last moments of us together...

After that, a loud crashing sound coming. They breached the front gate, they knock down our door.

"There is no more time..." He open the cupboard, which lead down to our secret dungeon.

"This is for the last time..." He hug me with what's left from his strength, then he put me inside the cupboard and lock the door.

"Good bye, my daughter..."

His voice break into crying as he whisper to me behind the door.

After that, they break the door to our bedroom.

"There he is! He must had the key!"

I can see from the small opening of the door. The villagers swarm him and take him away.

Nothing I could do.

What's left for me is to run down the stair and hide in the most nearby room.

In there, I found a bed.

In there, for the whole night, I weep...

.....

"Mistress Isabelle, everything are ready."

A knock heard beyond my bedroom. It seems that I had fallen asleep, and dream about my worst part of my childhood.

"I understand. I'll prepare everything."

I quickly get up and wore my robe again, the dress that I must wear to show those around me that I'm superior to them. That I am their mistress, and their priestess.

But soon, all shall end.

I need no more to use the foolish villagers that I easily brainwash by pretending as their priestess. I also need no more to act as a priestess, when all that I actually had is a magic and a power that I receive from our lord.

Because soon, I would use the key to end it all...

Yes... Everything....
