Lia Conrad

I slowly shook Jack awake as the doctor came in to give him a quick check up. I sat in the waiting room until they were done and then we got the get- go to leave. We walked out to the parking lot and got into my car. I was just about to turn the key when Jack reached out and stopped me. He held my arm in a tight grip, but his touch felt soothing.
"Lia, I hope you're not mad at me for telling you that I still loved you." He said, nervously. I shook my head.
"No. Actually it was the best thing I've heard in a long time." I looked up at him and smiled. "So, you want to get back to the hotel? Magcon s today but Bart said it wouldn't be good for you to go because of your condition but, he said they'll be thinking of you." He nodded. "Can you let go of my arm now?" I laughed. He let go of my arm, I turned on the car and we started on our way back to the hotel.

I threw myself onto the bed and closed my eyes, ready to emerge into a deep sleep. Just as I was about to fall asleep, someone had knocked on my door. I looked over at the clock that was on the bedside table. It was only 7:30. The boys we're just about to finish the meet and greet before the show soon. So, I figured that the only person it must be was Jack.
I opened the door and there he was, looking as perfect as ever. He smiled that wide smile down at me. I always loved that smile of his. Almost as much I loved him.
"What are you doing here?" I said with a smirk.
"I got lonely and bored. I just woke up from a nap."
"You just interrupted the beginning of mine."
"Sorry." He chuckled.
"You're not sorry." I laughed. "Well, if you're going to wake me from a nap, you might as well come in." He walked in and laid in my bed, the thick sheet wrapping around him.
"It feels so good to not be in a hospital bed. But, now I missing my bed at home." He frowned but then smiled. He scooted over and patted the empty space next to him on the bed. "You said you wanted to take a nap didn't you?" He smirked. I stood , still at the door, looking at him with a smirk on my face and my arms crossed. He gave me puppy eyes and I figured that there was no use in arguing with him. I crawled into the bed with him and he immediately wrapped me into his body. I was so close that I could hear his heartbeat and feel the heat radiating off of his body. He smelled like cologne but not the smelly kind. The one I loved.
"Did you miss me?" He asked.
"Always." Which was true. Not a day went by that I didn't think about him at least once. "What about you?"
"I never stopped missing you."

The more I held her in my arms, the more I craved for her lips to be on mine. With every word she spoke, I loved her even more.
"Do you still love Jack?" I asked her, preparing for a yes.
"I think I thought I did, possibly to just fill a void. I feel really bad. I love him as a friend." I let out a sigh.
"Do you," I hesitated. "still love me?" I looked down at her.
"I never stopped." She bit her bottom lip in the cutest way.
I held her face in my hands and looked into her eyes. Then our lips connected and it was the best kiss I felt in a while. It was her kiss.
