Jack and I stepped into the fancy restaurant, going up to the man standing at the podium in the front of the restaurant.
"Good evening." The man smiled. "How can I help you today?"
"Reservation for two." Jack smiled a huge, closed mouth smile. Rocking back and forth on his heels as I held onto his arm, his other hand in his pants pocket. I giggled at how adorable he looked.
"Name?" The man said as he flipped open a reservation book.
"Gilinsky."
"I'm sorry sir but it looks like you've been doubled booked." The man frowned at us. "We're sorry that this happened. We can give you an invitation to come back tomorrow?" Jack's face fell into a frown, as well as mine.
"No, no. Thank you anyway." Jack said sadly.
"We're so sorry for the inconvenience." Jack smiled sadly at the man and we walked out, his fists starting to clench slightly. Jack opened the car door for me, stomping his way to his side of the car. As he sat in his seat, he huffed loudly, crossing his arms over his chest. He slammed the car door.
"Jack, what is the matter?"
"We got fucking double booked! That's what happened!"
"Hey. You need to calm down. You're acting like a child." I placed my small hand on his arm, he tensed at my touch but relaxed slightly. He shooed my hand off of him.
"Don't tell me that I'm acting like a child!" I winced at his anger.
"Well you're having a tantrum like one!" I said, matching his loud volume. I calmed myself, slowly inhaling and exhaling. "We can do something else, Jack. It'll be fine." I reached over and took his hand from his crossed arms and entwined our fingers. He seemed to calm down.
"I'm sorry, Lia. You're right." He leaned over, planting a small kiss on my lips. I smiled at him. "We can do something else." He smirked and I rolled my eyes.
"I don't know, Jack. I've got to study and-"
"Forget studying. It's not like you have school tomorrow."
"Jack, I do have school tomorrow." He leaned back in his seat in deep thought. I sighed. "Why don't we just have a nice quiet night in? We can watch a movie and I can make dinner."
"So, you want to watch a movie but don't want to spend time with me?"
"What the hell are you talking about? I freaking live with you." Jack looked up at me with pleading eyes. I sighed and gave in to his adorableness. "Fine fine fine. But, we can't disturb the neighbors." I joked.
"I love you, Lia Gilinsky." He leaned over and kissed my cheek.
"Woah there. I'm not a Gilinsky yet."
"To me you are and you always have been."Jack Gilinsky
I looked over at Lia in the passenger seat of my car. The moonlight was hitting her perfectly. Her long brown hair flowing over her shoulders, leaning her head on her hand as she looked out of the window, watching cars and buildings pass by. I looked down at our hands, perfectly entwined together, like her hand was made for me.
She was made for me. She was mine and I could'nt wait to marry her.
It is one of the best feelings to know that your heart belongs to someone and that their heart belongs to you. I sighed longingly, Lia's beautiful voice interrupting my thoughts.
"Hey, you okay?"
"Yeah. I'm fine." I squeezed her hand reassuringly.
"What are you thinking about?" She asked, a look of curiosity on her face.
"I'm just thinking about how much I love you." I smiled at her.We pulled into our parking space. I looked over at Lia once more and she was fast asleep. I smiled. She looked so beautiful when she was sleeping. More heavenly and peaceful than when she was awake. I unbuckled my seat belt, walked over to her side of the car and slowly lifted her in my arms. She moved a little, getting into a comfortable position in my arms. I carefully trudged up the stairs, holding Lia close to my body. I reached into my pocket and grabbed my keys from my pocket and carefully unlocked the door, Lia still in my arms. I used my foot to open the door to the apartment. I settled her down in our bed, as I set her down, her eyelashes fluttered as she started to wake up from her sleep. She stirred in the bed, stretching as she noticed her surroundings. She smiled sweetly at me.
"I guess we're not doing anything tonight?" I winked. She rolled her eyes playfully.
"I guess not." She said giggling. I leaned over and kissed her on the forehead, then the nose, then her cheek and finally her lips. I started to make my way to her jaw when she stopped me. She shook her head and laid down next to her under the covers. She moved over to me, laying her head on my chest. I wrapped my arm around her waist and pulled her closer to me. I stroked her hair, pulling a piece behind her ear. I looked down at her and she looked up into my dark eyes.
"What?"
"Nothing. I just love you. So so much." I kissed her head as she smiled at me.Lia Conrad
I held hands with the sweetest looking boy. He kept stealing kisses on my cheek. We walked on the beach, close to the water. I kept looking at the ground, not being able to look at the boy's face. He was sweet. Giving compliments and kisses. I loved him. He nibbled my ear as he said, "I love you, Lia." To which I replied, "I love you too, Aiden."
I shot up, feeling strange about the dream I just had moments ago.
Aiden? Why Aiden? Why not Jack? I love Jack. Aiden is just a jackass.
I looked over at Jack. He had stirred slightly from my movements but he was still peacefully sleeping. I got out of bed and made my way to our small kitchen, getting a glass of water from the fridge. I slowly took a sip from the cup I held in my shaky hands. Why had I had a dream about Aiden? Just his name made me cringe. I dreaded seeing him in class this morning but I had to toughen up and face him. He surely wouldn't be sitting next to me after that little embarrassment.
I was still pondering the dream when I felt two large arms wrap around my waist, a kiss planted on my cheek.
"Why are you up so early?" Jack said, his morning voice sounding like an angel.
"I just had a weird dream."
"Tell me." He said tiredly.
"Maybe later. I'm still tired." I smiled up at him. He started to kiss my jaw. As he did, I rolled my head back on his shoulder. He dipped his head down to my ear.
"I love you. Go to bed." He whispered, kissing my cheek once more. I obeyed his demand, freeing from his grip. I climbed back into bed. A few minutes later, I heard Jack walk into the room. He got under the covers and I laid on his chest, feeling his warmth. Savoring it. Embracing it.
Why would I dream about Aiden when I've got Jack? I fell asleep trying to find the answer.IM SORRY THAT THEIR RELATIONSHIP IS SO CHEESY.
