Lia Conrad

The next morning, I woke up to find a note from Gilinsky on my bed side table. It reminded me of the one that Johnson had left for me about pancakes. My stomach grumbled thinking about food. Quiet down. We'll get something I thought. I looked around my room and noticed that Johnson was not in the room. I figured that he had went down to breakfast, probably with the rest of the boys.
I got up and decided to take a quick and shower then, change into my clothes for the day. I grabbed all of my shower things when my phone buzzed. I set my things down back on my bed. I had a message from Gilinsky asking me where I was. I told him that I would be down in a few minutes.

Jack: Did you get my note? :)

When he sent that, I immediately remembered his note on my side table. I texted him saying that I had just read it and that I would be down in a few.

Good morning :) I hope you had a good sleep. I left right after I saw you were sleeping. I need to talk to you so I thought that we would go to McDonald's and get your favorite. :) - Jack G

I smiled at the note and continued to start getting ready to go into the shower.

I met Jack in the lobby and smiled at him, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. As I was in the shower, I was growing more and more curious about what Jack had to talk to me about.
"Hey Lia." Jack said with a smile. "Are you ready to go?"
"Um of course. I'm getting pancakes." He laughed.
"Well then what are we waiting for?" I shrugged my shoulders. As we headed out of the hotel, I looked back at the breakfast area and saw Johnson looking at us with a saddened look on his face and immediately felt guilty for how I have made him feel.

"So, what did you want to talk to me about?" I looked down at our feet walking on the pavement. We were walking in sync.
"Well," He hesitated. He was nervous. It was hard for him to talk and I knew something was wrong because usually it's never hard for him to talk. "I wanted to know if that kiss meant anything last night."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, does it mean that we're back together or...." He trailed off.
"Woah woah woah Jack. I'm not letting you off that easy." I laughed. "A kiss isn't just going to magically get us back together."
"I knew you were going to say that and that's exactly why I planned on us going on a date. Tonight." I immediately found my palms were becoming sweaty. He looked at me. "So, is that a yes?"
"Of course. " I looked up at him and smiled. He returned that smile with an adorable one of his own. "So Mr. Gilinsky, what shall I wear to this date?" I smirked.
"Wear something casual yet not causal if that makes sense." I gave him a strange look. "Just wear something nice, but not too fancy. I'm sure you'd look beautiful in anything so whatever you wear is going to be fine."
"So, if I showed up in jeans and a t-shirt, that would be okay?" I gave him a sly smile.
"You could show up dressed like a trash can and you would still look gorgeous." He smiled down at me.
"Aww. Well thanks Jack." I laughed.
We walked up to McDonald's. Jack and I walked up to the cashier and placed our order. The cashier told us the price and I pulled out my wallet but Jack laid his hand over mine as I was holding my wallet.
"You don't have to worry about paying, Lia."
"Don't be stupid. I'll pay."
"As long you're with me, you'll never have to pay for anything." He smiled at me and I put my wallet back into my jean pocket. I still felt bad for letting Jack pay but he had insisted.
We sat down at a table and dug into our meals.
"About this date," I started. "Where are we going?"
"Can't say. It 's a surprise." He winked at me.
"Come on. Can't you just tell me?" I whined.
"Then that would ruin the point of a surprise." He said very matter- of- factly. I gave him puppy dog eyes which would always work on him.
"No matter how cute you are, it's not going to work this time." He smirked and I pouted. "Fine." I smiled.

We were back at the hotel hanging out in my room. It was just Jack and I because Mahogany went to see Jacob and the boys all went to the beach.
"How come you didn't want to go to the beach with the boys?" I asked him as we were watching tv on my bed.
"Because you didn't want to go." He said in a "duh" tone, almost like this was an obvious answer.
"I could've stayed here alone."
"But if I went, I would be thinking about being with you the whole time. And why do that when I can just be with you?" I nodded and shrugged.
As we were watching tv, he yawned and put his arm around me.
"Oh come on Jack." I laughed.
"What?"
"That is so cheesy." I started to burst out laughing and he joined in.
"Well, what do you expect? I'm cheesy." He paused for a moment and then said, "That's why my name is Jack. For cheddar Jack."
I stopped laughing for a moment and then smirked at him. "Oh my gosh. You've got to be kidding me." And I went right back to laughing. He then started tickling me. "Jack stop!" I yelled out, laughing. He stopped and he was on top of me and we were both gasping for air because of all the tickling. He looked into my eyes and his eyes slowly traveled down to my lips. He leaned in slowly and I got tired of waiting so I smashed my lips into his.
The kiss turned from soft to passionate in seconds. I ran my hands through his dark brown hair as his lips started to go from my lips down to my neck. Inside of me, there were hundreds of fireworks going off. Colorful explosions of happiness rushed through me. This time reminded me of the first time we did this, in his room. His sheets smelled just like him then and now these sheets will smell like us both. It was an exhilarating feeling.

I woke up and looked around, slowly remembering what happened and smiling. I looked up and saw Jack asleep, his arm around me. I smiled at how peaceful he looked. I turned over to look at the clock. It was 6:00. I'm sure the boys and Mahogany wouldn't be back from the beach yet and they would be hanging out on the boardwalk. Which was good.
"Jack." I said, stretching out the a. "Jack wake up." I shook him awake. His eyes fluttered open.
"What? Are they back?"
"No. It's only 6. They're still at the boardwalk." I smiled at him.
"You're so beautiful." He said as he moved a piece of hair behind my ear and kissed my forehead. Even though it was the evening, he still had a morning voice and when he talked, I melted.
"Are we still going on that date you mentioned?" I asked him.
"Well of course." He grinned. "Get up and get ready." I climbed out of bed wearing only undergarments. I walked over to my bag and thought of what to wear.
"Hey Jack?" I called to him. He was still in bed.
"Yes?"
"What do you mean simple?"
"I mean something you don't mind getting sand all over." He smirked and I nodded. "Oh and don't wear heels." He added.
I took a quick shower and got dressed.

When I came out of the bathroom, Jack was no longer in the bed and I figured that he must be getting ready.

Jack Gilinsky

I was all ready for my date with Lia. I had the picnic basket already in the car and I was down in the hotel lobby buying a bouquet of roses. I couldn't wait to see what she was wearing. She was going to look absolutely beautiful like always. I just couldn't stop thinking about how after this date, I was going to be hers again and how she was finally going to mine.
I walked back into the elevator after I double checked everything. It had to be perfect to match Lia; perfect.
I walked to her door and knocked softly. She opened it and I was stunned at how amazing she looked in something so simple. Her hair was in a beautiful curls, she was wearing a simple black dress and brown shoes.
"Close your mouth." She said, laughing.
"Are you ready to go?" I asked her.
"Of course." She smiled. She slipped her hand into mine and it felt good holding her hand again. I would not screw it up like I did last time by leaving for Magcon.

I was very nervous about our date. I had no idea where we were going at all. Which in a way, made it more fun. I smiled at the thought. Jack led me to his car. He opened the door for me and I climbed inside. He grabbed something from the back seat and he got into the car.
"Um, these are for you." He held out a beautiful bouquet of roses. They smelled wonderful.
"Jack, these are beautiful." I beamed.
"Not as beautiful as you." He said. "Are you ready?"
"Of course." I smiled.

Sorry for so many errors in this & the chapters before. I'm too lazy to edit the chapters. I hate reading my own writing.
