Sixteen.

Lia Conrad

My heart felt like it was exploding. I jumped into his arms and kissed him all over.
This is happening. I always dreamed of this.
"Where did you get the ring from?" I asked as he was sliding it onto my finger.
"I picked it out after our 10th month. I always knew that I wanted to marry you one day." Jack said. He looked like he was tearing up a little and when he spoke he sounded a little choked up. He stood up.
"Why are you crying?" I asked with a smile.
"Because you said yes." He looked down at me and a tear drop rolled own his cheek. I took my thumb and wiped it away. "Now I can finally be with you forever."
"But what about me going to college?"
"I'm coming with you."
"But what about magcon and you and Jack and your music?"
"We can get an apartment near your school and near the studio." He smiled softly. "Everything will be perfect." He paused. "Like you." He smiled his beautiful pearly white smile.

He was right. Everything will be perfect.

I woke up in the morning, sun shining in through the window. Jack and I are finally settled into our apartment and we love it. It is perfect because it's a close drive to school and a close drive to the studio. When I don't have classes, I pick the boys up some food and visit them while they're recording.
I look over at Jack who is still sleeping and it gives me time to admire all of his facial features. His sharp jawline. How he looks so peaceful as he's sleeping. The way his arm drapes over me but holds me close. He is perfect.
He slowly opens his eyes as I turn over. He looks at me with his beautiful brown eyes.
"Good morning." He smiles. His morning voice rings out through the air. He leans over and kisses my forehead. He looks at me. "God. You are so beautiful." I smile and wrap myself up in his arms. I snuggle my head into his chest and hear the beating of his heart. He kisses me on top of my head.

Jack Gilinsky

I wake up to the beautiful face of Lia. She is looking at me. I love her. So much. Everything is perfect. Especially her.
She is the love of my life. Without her I would be nothing.
She looked at me. "Today is the day." She whispered to me. "Can we check the mail?" I sighed.
"Has the mailman even come yet?"
"Jack, it's like 12 in the afternoon." She said softly. "Please please please?" I groaned. She jumped out of bed, taking the covers with her. "Get up get up get up!" I buried my face into the pillow and groaned once more. "Jack." She said stretching the a. I turned over and got onto the bed and sat on me. She smiled softly at me. I moved a piece of her long brown hair behind her ear to see her face. I returned the soft smile and she leaned down to kiss me. I could feel her smile beneath the kiss.
She climbed off of me. I watched her as she tied her hair into a high ponytail and slipped on a pair of shoes. Before she walked out of the bedroom, she looked back at me and smiled.
"You coming?" I chuckled and rolled my eyes putting a shirt on and slipping on some shoes.
We walked out of our apartment and down the stairs to the mailbox. I gave Lia the honors of unlocking the mailbox. It was her possible acceptance letter after all. She pulled out the stack of mail and found what she was looking for. She opened the envelope and the look on her face said it all.

I was going to end this a while ago but lol no. It's not even close.
