Lia Conrad
"I'll answer it." Jack said getting up from the couch. Butterflies released into my stomach and I don't know why. Jack opened the door and standing there was Jack Johnson. He looked angry but he can't be angry. He said I could go to Jack. So why is he here?
"Hey JJ. What are you doing here, man?" Jack said nervously, looking back at me with an expectant look. I shrug my shoulders, signaling to him that I didn't know why he was here.
"I came to see Lia but I didn't expect you to be here." JJ said slightly annoyed.
"Dude, I thought I told you that Lia and I are like, together now." JJ just rolled his eyes.
"So, why are you here, Jack?" I asked him.
"I came to see you. I miss you, Lia." He took a deep breath. "I want you back, Lia. I love you."
"Woah Jack. Calm down. You had your chance and you let her go. Don't come back now." Jack G said.
"I let you have her because you were in the hospital man. I was being a good friend." JJ said angrily.
"You're not being a good friend now, Jack." JG said. "I don't even know why you came here."
"To get Lia back!" JJ yelled.
"You don't deserve Lia. She doesn't even want you!" JG yelled. That's when JJ threw the first punch. Soon enough, they were wresting on the ground, punching and hitting. I had to do something.
"STOP." I screamed. The boys immediately stopped what they were doing and broke apart. "You guys are best friends and you're going to let me ruin your guy's friendship?" They looked at each other and then me. Both of their faces started to form bruises and JJ started to get a black eye. JG had a blood nose. It was a mess. "You guys need to work this out differently and I know how."
"I'm sorry, Lia. I really am." JG apologized.
"Yeah. I'm sorry too."
"No. The only people you guys need to be apologizing to is each other." The boys stood up and gave each other dirty looks.
"Both of you stop being childish and apologize to each other right now." They rolled their eyes but apologized anyway. "Thank you. Now lets get you guys cleaned up."
I went into the kitchen to get a paper towel and handed it to JG so he could stop his nose from bleeding. I went to the freezer and got a ice pack for JJ's eye. We all sat down at the kitchen table.
"So, you said you know how we can work this out?" JJ asked.
"Yes. I do know how." I said.
"Well, how?" JG asked, still holding the paper towel to his nose.
"Maybe we could work this out if I just left." Both of their eyes got big.
"Leave? What do you mean?" JG said, looking hurt.
"Well, it's time for me to go to college now anyway and I'm not going to college in state. I'm leaving guys and me leaving will solve everything."*gasp*
