A few days before UA tryouts...
Mizuki and Izuku haven't talked unless it was necessary. Mizuki has been working extremely hard, and her quirk has become very powerful. She has also started using her quirk to make throwing knives to practice with. She has also tried to increase the amount of time her quirk affects someone. Never the less, Mizuki was very stressed, especially with U.A. tryouts just around the corner. And she honestly wasn't expecting what was about to happen.
Mizuki was sitting in her and Itsuki's room reading 'His knight' on her phone, and Itsuki sitting on his bed obviously debating something in his mind.
"What are you thinking about?" Mizuki asked startling Itsuki.
"I-umm... nothing..." he said looking away.
"Come on Itsuki, I'm your sister. I know when something is bothering you."
"Fine, I just didn't want to tell anyone yet..."
"Tell anyone what?"
"Well... I'm kind of- well..." Itsuki trailed off.
"You're what? Are you ok?" Mizuki asked starting to get worried.
"No, I'm fine... I-well... I'm gay..." Itsuki said nervous about how his sister would react.
Mizuki stayed quiet.
"Please don't be mad Mizuki, even if I like guys, I'm still me..."
"I'm not mad Itsuki... You're still my little brother... I can't be mad at you. So what, you like guys? Me too! It doesn't matter." Mizuki said trying to make him smile.
Itsuki let out a breathy laugh. "Thank you Mizuki, I needed that. But I couldn't help but hear you say little brother. We're twins. Did you forget?"
"Ah yes, we are twins, but you look past one detail. I'm 4 minutes older!" Mizuki said with a smug smile, and slightly laughing. Itsuki laughed along with her.
"Also I'm not your only brother, you know." Itsuki said referring to Izuku.
"Well you didn't pull one over on me about my PTSD, did you?" She paused thinking of a way to change the subject from her and Izuku's fight. "Hey, so now I can talk to you about cute boys. Am I right, or am I right?" Mizuki said with a smirk.
"Ya, I guess you would be right about that." Itsuki said with a laugh "Hey, now I can come to you for relationship advice too, right." Itsuki said still laughing.
"Na-uh, no you can't."
"What, why not?"
"Because have you seen my past boyfriends? I don't think you would want advice from me. Plus I'm pretty sure you have someone on your mind." Mizuki said as he had been texting someone quite often over the past few months he had been back.
"Well I may or may not have a boyfriend back in Korea..." Itsuki said shyly.
"Aww so cute." Mizuki said teasingly.
After a few more minutes of talking about Mizuki's past boyfriends, and Itsuki's current boyfriend, Mizuki felt like she had to ask.
"Hey Itsuki?"
"What's up?"
"Have you told mom yet?"
"Well which one are you referring to?" Itsuki said still trying to be funny.
"Haha, I mean Inko." Mizuki paused. "Have you told her yet?"
"No, not yet. You're the only one I've told."
"Ok, well, I'm glad you were able to tell me." Mizuki said with a sincere smile.
"That's because I trust you... and if I didn't tell you sooner you would have gone through my phone or something to find out."
"Ha, you know me too well."
