CHAPTER 26

After the board meeting i jumped to another meeting which is the presentation of all transactions and sales of the company.

It's already eleven am. When i finished the three consecutive meetings.

"Ana"

"Yes miss?"

"Take your lunch. Inform the Barzuela Company about the meeting after this lunch"

"Miss?"

"You heard me right Ana. I want to see the design for the new ship"

"O-okay miss"

I signed the papers on my table. Napakarami namang papel nito!

I rolled my eyes when i heard my phone.

"Yes?"

"Ylona"

"Ate Moreen hello"

"Dito ka daw umuwi mamaya sabi ni mommy"

"Sure. Pero sabihin mo mag o- overtime ako ngayon"

"For what?"

"Work i guess?"

"Come on! Sinilip mo nga lang ako kagabi dahil trabaho agad ang ginawa mo and now-

"I'm sorry okay? I just need to finalize and sign this papers"

Pag katapos kong talikuran ang lamesa nila daddy kagabi ay umalis naako at umuwi sa condo ko.

"Whatever just be home tonight"

"Yeah sure"

Tumayo na ako at lumabas ng opisina ko.

"Where's Ana?" I asked to the nearest girl in the cubicle.

"Nasa baba pa po miss. Tawagin ko na po ba?" She said shyly

"Just tell her to be in the conference room. On the 15 floor"

"Y-yes po"

I nod and walked away. Deretso ako papunta sa conference room, as expected wala pang tao dito maliban saakin.

I turn on my laptop and do some works again while waiting for them.

When i look at my wristwatch it's already 12:35. They should be here by now. Very disappointing.

I shook my head and typed again. My fingers are making noises by typing when i heard an approaching steps.

"Sorry we're late" a familliar low baritone voice echoed on the room.

I didn't give a glance to him and to his men. They went to where they should be seated.

"Miss s-sorry po. Nasa meeting po kasi si Engr."

I crossed my legs under the table and looked at them.

"What are you guys waiting for?" I asked in a curious way.

As if on cue they set up the projectors and their laptops infront.

"S-sorry for the inconvenience Miss, but can we please wait for Architect Hermosa?" The boy with a thick glasses asked.

Nag init ang dugo ko at padabog na binagsak ang paa ko na lumikha ng tunog sa sahig.

"How long?" I ask calmly

"She'll be here in any moment. Forgive her tardiness" Kenzo said in a monotone.

I was about to answer him in my sarcastic way but the door opened and there i saw the face of Lucille. Yeah the perfect Lucille.
