part ten

"sir can you hear me?"

"please stay with me sir"

"bring him to the ER quick!"

a doctor and two nurses rushed into the ER and started checking on him. putting on the ventilator to stabilise his breathing, stop his bleeding,checking on his heartbeat rate and other injuries and more.

hwanwoong, youngjo, keonhee and seoho are at the hospital, waiting in front of the ER for dongju. hwanwoong is crying and is being comforted by youngjo. while keonhee didn't say a word since the hospital told him what happened. the four of them are so worried, praying that dongju will be alright.

seoho's pov

"this was all my fault, i shouldn't left him to walk with youngjo earlier" hwanwoong sobs.

"no noo its not your fault dear" youngjo hugged tighter and kissed his forehead.

keonhee is still silent. but his eyes shows that he is worried and he was about to cry. i can see it.

"keonhee? are you okay?" i asked but no response was given whatsoever so i just hugged him and it seems like he's returning it. i guess he really needs it.

in about 20 minutes later, the doctor came out of the room and walked towards us.

"mr. keonhee?" "can i talk to you for a moment?" he asked.

"yes, sure." keonhee replied.

"follow me"

keonhee and the doctor went into a room that seems like the doctor's office? it wasn't that far it's just right around the corner. sigh, please whatever news the doctor is telling him, it better be good.

keonhee's pov

"he is safe, it's a good thing someone called us right after the accident happened. or not, we might not be able to save him." the doctor stated.

"his bleeding wasn't really bad, his bone and skull are doing just fine. some wounds on his knees and arms, other than that, he's fine. he should take 3-4 days to heal and he can be discharged after that period." he explained.

"ahh..... okay thank you doctor.... urm can i see him now?" i asked, really wanting to see dongju.

"not yet, we have to put him in a room first, it might take a while because the hospital is busy, as you can see, but i'll inform you the room number and you can visit him afterwards." he smiled.

"ouh okay doctor, thank you so much for saving him" i thanked him .

the doctor just nod and i went out of the room, with a bit of smile on my face and went to the place where the other guys are waiting.

"what is it? what did he said? is dongju okay? will he be okay?" hwanwoong panicked.

"he's fine, everything will be fine, don't worry, he didn't bled too much because of the immediate help. " i explained.

"thank god , when can we meet him? i wanna see him and tell him i'm sorry" hwanwoong asked.

"we'll meet him soon, after the doctor transfer him to a room" i said, trying to calm him down.

"o-okay.." he nodded weakly.

a few moments later, a nurse tapped my shoulder and told me what room dongju was in and she told me that we can visit him now.

"guys, room 720, second floor, let's go" i said.

all of us rushed to the elevator and went up to the second floor. having a bit of hard time searching for dongju's room, but finally found it after asking the nurse that was on duty at the counter.

we opened the door, and we saw dongju is sitting on the bed with eyes looking at his bruised knees, full of wires on his hands. he seems sad.

"dongju?" i approached him.

xion's pov

niki...... he left me..... he was bored.... i..... i hate myself....

staring at my knees, i don't know what to feel. it doesn't hurts at all. my head feels pain though. i don't want to feel this pain. wasn't losing niki enough? why do i have to feel this pain? why me? and not othe-

"dongju?" someone approached.

its them. they came. how did they know?

"k-keonhee.... woong, youngjo and seoho too?" "how did you guys know i'm here...." i murmured.

"because the hospital called us you dumbass" keonhee replied with a sad smile. it looks like he's about to cry, he quickly sat down on a chair and hold my hand gently. without even noticing, a few tears dropped from his eyes, making me feel a bit guilty.

"why, what happened.." keonhee sobs.

"oh-" i was about to continue my sentence when woong suddenly hugged me and said

"i'm so sorry dongju i shouldn't have left you alone i should've walked you back home instead, it was all my fault!" woong cried.

"no,no.... it wasn't your fault.... i was the one who told you to go right... i was the one who wanted to meet niki, don't worry none of this was your fault.." i hugged him.

"t-thank you. and and niki.... shouldn't he walk you home? where was he when this happened? what kinda soulmate is he for not taking care of his partner? wha-" hwanwoong nags when i cut him off and said,

"he cheated."

"HE WHAT??!?!?" seoho almost screamed at me, trying to control his anger, keonhee quickly stood up and hugged him and caressed his cheeks , telling him that we're still at a hospital and to be patient.

"WHAT WAS THE REASON WHY DID HE DID SUCH THING TO YOU" hwanwoong shouted loudly enough for all of us to hear.

"he said, he was bored of me" i spoke.

"i knew something like this would happen." hwanwoong sighed.

"what do you mean?" i asked. looking at him curiously, waiting for an answer.

"i had a bad feeling since you told me about him." "and i was right." he explained, looking at the floor.

the room became silent for a few moment until i voiced out

"so what keonhee told me was right."

"huh? what did i told you?" he tilted his head a bit.

"that a person who has two marks had to choose which one they'll stay until the end. and the other one will end up hurting. just like me now." i said showing a painful smile.

"sigh..... it's okay dongju... we'll be here for  you okay? don't worry we wont leave you like he did okay?" youngjo voiced out, and recieved a nod and a smile by the others , which soothes me down a bit.

"okay" i smiled.

they're speaking the truth, aren't they?
