Chapter 8 - Harvey Johns

Friday, September 19th

Willow's POV

So today I'm going out with the waiter I met a few nights again. Yes it's risky as I barely know him but at least I've met him in person, and we did text most of the night after the meal and yesterday.

I've also been texting him this morning but that was mainly to make sure today was still on and to get all the details.

I found out he's 21, so three years older than me, and his name is Harvey. I know, very similar to Harry, what a coincidence.

Anyway I'm meeting him at the cafe where I've realised I seem to meet everyone, but oh well it's cute. It's called 'The Caff'.

I'm meeting Harvey there at 1 so I've got half an hour to finish up getting ready and leave.

I hadn't told anyone about this because:

1- I didn't want Harry finding out and thinking I don't like him.

2- Louis will get all protective and probably scare him off.

3- Mum and dad will think it's a big deal when it really isn't.

4- I haven't told Poppy because I'm still not talking to her.

I'm just wearing a casual outfit, leggings, a long black vest top to cover my bum, my black leather jacket with a red tartan scarf and my timberlands. I've just finished straightening my hair and just put my moisturiser on and some mascara.

"Right I'm going out" I shouted through the house, not really knowing why as I quickly remembered I'm the only one home as mum and dad are working and Louis is out doing rehearsals with the rest of the boys.

I walked out the house before locking up and texting Harvey saying I was on my way, he quickly replied asking what I wanted to drink so I said my usual, a hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows.

I arrived after about 10 minutes of walking as usual. As soon as I got to the cafe I noticed Harvey sat in the left side, the furthest away by the window.

"Hello" I said, actually feeling quite shy as he got up to hug me and said hello back. We sat down and both took a sip of our drinks.

"Thank you for getting my drink, I'll pay you back" I said reaching for my purse.

"No don't worry, honestly, it's from the £10 tip you gave me" he said with a smirk.

"Oh, so I basically payed for it then" I said smirking back before he jokingly shook his head at me.

"So, how was your meal the other night then?" He asked, taking another sip of what looked like coffee.

"Yeah it was lovely thank you, I must say the waiter was pretty on point, probably the best bit about it" I said giving him a cheeky grin making him laugh slightly.

"Well thank you, you were probably the best looking girl that's ever come into the restaurant" he replied making me blush slightly. "Awh you're blushing" He said with a slight laugh causing me to smirk but glare at him at the same time.

"Shut up" I said laughing covering my face with my hands. Literally what is up with me, I'm never like this. Im usually more confident.

"Awh you're shy, I thought you'd be more confident than this" he said looking at me as I removed my hands from his face. I was looking directly into his eyes. His gorgeous green eyes, and for a moment all I could think of was Harrys green eyes, until he pulled me away from my thoughts.

"So what do you want to do today? Wanna do something for the afternoon? Or we could go out into town tonight, I know a few of my mates want to and you could invite a friend?" He asked with a smile.
