Ch. 15

I wake up on my bed. I roll over and see that my clock said 6:12. I sit up and try to recap what happened last night. After Killian left i call my mom and she took me home. I slide my feet to dangle off the side of my bed when my mom walks in. "Hey honey how are you feeling?" I look at my hands. I was distracted by Killian to remember that my hands were out of control. They were back to normal now. "Yeah, i am fine."

"Do you want to go to school today?"

"I don't want to but I need to talk to Killian and Miss Blue."

"Okay, i will make you some breakfast." I smile as she leaves the room. I get up and take a shower. I get dressed and look at my phone. It read 10 messages from Killian. I feel bad not talking to him. He probably is scared and worried out of his wits. I unlock my phone and look at the messages.

KILLIAN- are you okay? Happened?

KILLIAN- Emma what happened i am not mad

KILLIAN- please tell me what happened.

KILLIAN- I understand that you want some space but i just want to help

KILLIAN- Emma i love you and i don't care what ever it is i just want to be with you

KILLIAN- i am not mad please answer me i am worried

KILLIAN- Emma please i love you

KILLIAN- can we talk in school tomorrow?

KILLIAN- are you coming tomorrow?

KILLIAN- i love and miss you

I put my phone down and go down stairs to eat breakfast. I sit at the 4 person table and see pancakes in front of my seat. I sit down and shove the pancakes in my mouth. "Thanks mom" i say racing up the stairs. I grab my backpack and my phone. I race back down and out the door. I was going to miss my bus. I race to the corner which was only 2 houses away. I see the bus opening the doors and i run faster. Just he was about to close the doors i grab the left door and fling myself in. The bus driver gives me a look but i didn't care. I make my way the back and sit next to Elsa. "Heyyy girl, how are things going with you and Killian?"

I sigh not wanting to think about him, "not great."

"Really whats wrong?"

I think for a moment, "i just don't feel anything." I lied.

"I understand, you better tell him soon."

"I am telling him today."

"Smart idea, umm heyyy would you mind if I..."

"No, Elsa you can't have him."

We laugh and the bus pulls into the school parking lot.

I walk in front of homeroom and see that Killian is not there yet. I wait outside the class and wait.

After about 20 minutes I decided to go in because my feet were about to give out from caring all those books. I sit there in my usual seat and pull out my phone. I had a new message. It was from Elsa.

ELSA- keep strong 💪 don't let his charming face distract you

I smile, and text back.

ME- i won't thanks for the motivation 😘

ELSA- i am here all week.

I look up remembering that i need to talk to Killian when he walks in. I slip my phone back into my pocket and walk over to him. "We need to talk." I say in a serious, stern voice. He puts his books on his desk and follows me outside the class room. "Swan, what happened the other day? Is that normal? Are you okay?"

"Killian." I say stoping his psychotic rampage, "what happened yesterday was an accident. It was also magic." I stop for a second because magic can be a lot to take in. "I am fine, but i can't stay with you."

"Swan what do you mean? I can help you! Magic doesn't scare me."

"But it scares me! I can't control it when i am around you! I want to stay with you but i don't want to hurt you!" I start to cry and slowly back away so i can go to the bathroom. I turn around but he grabs my hand and turns me back around. "Swan i am not going to lose you! I love you too much." He wipes a tear from my check and holds both of my hands. "I know your intentions are from the heart, but i can take care of myself. We can get through this."

I hold back my tears and let out sob. "I just can't take a chance of hurting you." I let go oh his hands and race to the bathroom, with tiny sparks flying off my hands.
