Obanai let out an irritated sigh, and look at the bouncy girl, waving to him

"Are you gonna go to the festival later~?"

"What makes you think I'm going with you?" He raised an eyebrow. An imaginary arrow stabs your heart. Even if it hurts you still went with the flow, you pouted

"Mouu~! I didn't even ask yet"

"I'm not going"

"Ooooh you're just waiting for a certain someone to invite you" you smiled mischievously as if you know all his plans

He froze, scowling at you "What do you want L/N?"

"fufufu~ someone did invite you, y'now~"

"It's Kanroji isn't it?" he immediately asked, almost desperately

"I'm not telling you the name, buuuuut I'll tell you the time and place," you grinned and began to tell him the time and place

He didn't give you the proper answer, he just answered "Leave and Close the door properly." And walked away

You giggled, and walk to the door, you left the door open into the tiniest bit so he knows that you're not taking orders for him.

And that, You began walking to the Butterfly estate

Butterfly Estate

Mitsuri is currently walking back and forth in Shinobu's Office. Meanwhile, Muichiro Tokito and Shinobu are just watching the three-braided girl stressing herself.

Muichiro just finished a mission and went to the Butterfly estate to patch himself up. He has a deep cut on his left shoulder after encountering a powerful yet dumb demon, Shinobu drags him to her Office with Mitsuri.

He kinda heard your scheming about how can Mitsuri ask Obanai for the festival, you suggested 'let's just tie Obanai-kun in a rope and force him to go to the festival with Mitsu-chan!' they stare at you, nobody said a word but their faces are literally screaming 'disappointed but not surprised

"What If he says no?! What if Y/n-san didn't tell Iguro-san!? What if Iguro-san killed Y/n!? Or worse.....Y/n killed Iguro-san and get his blood and drank it" Mitsuri --who is in a panic --, said the last part in a horror whisper.

'What if's run through her head, I mean it's her crush! For god sake!. They're just waiting for you to return and Mitsuri keeps staring at the door like a dog it's waiting for the owner to come back from work.

Suddenly the door burst open
"I'M BACK~!"

You instantly saw Muichiro. You disappeared into thin air and hugged Muichiro, nuzzling your cheeks together

"kyaa~ Mui-kun~ can I have your blood~? I bet it taste delicious~Your so adorable~"

He was about to respond but the sting on his left shoulder causing him to hiss in pain. You noticed it and immediately let go of him. you inspected the shoulder, noticing how his shoulder and the bandages are covered in blood, not fully healed. You're about to comment but interrupted by a bone-crashing hug.

"Y-Y/N!! Did he accept?! Did I get rejected!?! Please t-tell me!!" Mitsuri cried out, hugging you to her chest. Meanwhile, you can't breathe and your bones can be heard almost cracking.

You looked at Shinobu with pleading eyes, who has been staring at the scene in amusement. Shinobu made eye contact with you and sighed.

"Mitsuri-chan, Y/n is suffocating and probably die before she could even tell you the answer"

Mitsuri let go of you and started apologizing and bowing profusely. You took a deep breath and mentally thanked Shinobu for the rescue.

"S-So Y/N-chan...what did he s-say?" Mitsuri said to you, fidgeting nervously, maybe she will be rejected? Who knows.

"He said...." You said, dramatically or playfully. Shinobu and Muichiro rolled their eyes at your actions, and Mitsuri is staring at you with wide hopeful eyes

"....no"
