This is What It Takes

Lucienne pov

* Flashback *

"This is weirdly perfect."

I can't help but burst out in laughter at Hope sudden comment while our bodies covered with a red blanket, i get up and lean to my side as I lean my weight on my right elbow. I pull the blanket up to cover her chest, "I think i broke the badass Hope Mikaelson," i said to her. "Never thought we would celebrate the end of our anniversary on a nasty-dusty ground, but here we are with a giggling Hope Mikaelson." Smirking as i watch her cheeks turn red.

We agree that Hope better stays with Mikaelson as her last name than Morningstar because the students will ask a lot and not a lot of supernatural's creatures know about us being married. Unless they paid attention to the rumour. 

"Don't be a jerk and ruin the moment," she playfully punches me. "You still owe me about dance in the Square. 

I lean forward to her and kiss her lips, "and the Devil always keep their promise, sunshine," i whispered. "You know, I never thought that I could be this... happy. So I gave up on it. But you always make me happy, wondering, and... Happy again," she quietly said. "I used to be afraid that you would never see me with you in future or someone stealing you away from me, or sometimes i thought about the worst that could happen." I make a circular motion on her arm, "that one day you would be gone and i will never see you anymore and i don't know what to do."

"You can't get rid of me easily, Hopeless. I will always find my way back to you, that's a promise."

As I was about to continue, suddenly I hear a lot of whispers that Gabe called it as angel's radio and loud ringing. I grunt as it gets louder and i grip my hairs, I can see Hope mouth moving but I can't hear her voice as I feel my eardrum are bleeding from the ringing. My breathing is uneven and I try to form a word. 

"M-M... Th-the T-T Twins."
