Chapter 10

"There in the Disappearing Light"

Lucienne pov

I lay on my back at the fountain with a bowl of popcorn sat on my stomach, watching Klaus falling to the table not far from where i am right now while Hope squeezing the wooden railing and panting.

"Do it again. Harder this time."

The whispering continues, "all of that pain, that simmering darkness. You need to purge it before it eats you alive--."

"Dad..." Hope holding her head as the whispering giving her a headache. 

But, of course, the hybrid has his own way.

"Give me your anger, Hope!"

Hope screams, telekinetically slamming Klaus to the wall and leaving both pantings. "It's not working," Hope shouts, annoyed and throwing my popcorn away. I snap my fingers and, in a second, my popcorn is whole again. "You're holding back" i roll my eyes. 

Well, i see he's trying to triggering the whispering.

"You really think I want to feel this way? No matter how hard I try to get it out, I don't feel any better" she shouted, exhales. "You're not the one I want to hurt" she tunes down her voice.

Klaus looks up at his daughter in interest, getting up. "Give me a name."

I told Klaus where the boy been hiding, seeing his sister must ask a witch to cloak him. I look over my pocket watch and count when will Klaus show up with the boy, then a voice of someone dragging a body arriving at the compound. He brought him to the basement, while Hope is waiting in her room.

I headed to the basement, where Klaus tying up the boy. "She is in her room. Go on, I'll wait here" i told him. Klaus looks hesitant at first before he went to Hope's room, as Klaus leaving the basement i took my book out then go to "R" section.

"Roman Sienna. 70 years old. A vampire. Caused of death, wolf bite...." frowning at the year of his death, "it must be your lucky year." I make the book disappearing as i hear Hope and Klaus coming to the basement.
