I sat on Hope's bed while the girl lays her head on my lap with her headphone, that i gave it to her for her 13th birthday, on. I can hear her listening to one of Louis Armstrong's song, i lean my back on the headboard and playing with her hairs.
It is our daily rituals, every night i would stay in her dorm and waiting until she fell asleep before i return to my family up there. Hope are wear her black pajama with white dots and green stripes, i watch her staring away at the ceiling before her eyes shut down.
I hear her father just arrives at the compound and is in the living room with the eldest Mikaelson. The sunflower that stands on her small cupboard is withering, i tap her arm softly as she opens her eyes to look at me in her baby blue eyes.
I point at the dead flowers, a small smile appearing on her face as she takes off her headphone. She gets up from her bed before running with excitement to her father.... Well, with her heavy footstep, it might be impossible to see Klaus.
A moment later, the girl return with sad and disappoint look. I exhale heavily before patting at her empty spot, the girl crawling to her bed and snuggling closer to me. She rubbed her eyes, sniffling quietly.
"C-can you, please, stay?........ I don't want to be alone." She can't hold her tears anymore as she broke down and sobbing. I rub her backs, making an invisible circle.
"I will never leave you..... Ssh, just sleep."
