The war is over and people are able to live not worrying about being killed in the Hunger Games but they now all grieve over loved, ones who were lost. Katniss stays enclosed in her home, never leaving her spot on the couch, she has nightmares and suffers from PTSD but she eventually brings herself together again and starts to learn what the world has for her in the future.
