Out of Tune

The last place on earth that Lennon McCormick wants to be is Los Altos, California. But after the unexpected loss of her musician father, Lennon finds herself on a plane, destined for an adventure of fun, sun, and living with her estranged mother, a step-father she doesn't get along with, and a six-year-old demonic half-brother.

Feeling alone in a new city, Lennon throws herself into school and starts a countdown - the number of days until she can leave California behind and move back to New York where she belongs.

Her passion for the love of music that she shared with her father is the last thing on her mind until she finds a struggling band singing one of her father's long-forgotten songs. When they ask for aid, Lennon agrees to help and is sent down a path of music, grief, healing, and love.

She has the know-how and they have the drive. Under Lennon's guidance, they may have the chance to be great. But with her heart divided between the city she left behind and a band in a place she never wanted to be in, Lennon must decide between following her head or her heart.
