I know that this may seem like a weird type of book. These poems may not make sense to anyone who reads them. That is because poetry is written from a place of emotion. That can be any emotion. I was told by many of my peers that I should share my poems with others so this is the platform I've chosen. I feel this is where they will truly be seen as what they are. My words, my voice, and my view on life.

Another collection of poems from 8th-grade minds! These poems conclude our personal struggles, ups and downs, and friendships (with one another and others) throughout this year. We hope you enjoy and find special meaning for yourself in these poems. May you know that you are not alone and be helped if you are having a difficult year! Also, some of these poems are to each other (there are some that form a "mini poem series," if you will, but it's not stated if they continue each other), some are to other people, and others are just... by themselves. It's laying back in the middle of a field and staring up at a cloud and finding all the details that make it unique. It's star gazing and asking yourself questions that could never be answered.
